The IGNITE | NASQN Online Quality Conference 2026 is excited to welcome Dr. Stephanie M. Peterson, Ph.D., BCBA-D, as our Keynote Speaker!

Dr. Peterson is a nationally recognized ABA leader, researcher, professor, and clinical innovator. She currently serves as Associate Dean and Executive Director of the WMU Kalamazoo Autism Center and has dedicated her career to improving outcomes for children with developmental disabilities.

Her keynote—“Defining and Supporting the Role of the Behavior Technician: A Key to Quality”—will highlight how the essential work of behavior technicians can be strengthened through clear role definition, performance improvement logic, and high-quality supervision. Her expertise includes severe behavior treatment, FCT, functional analysis, reinforcement-based interventions, and teleconsultation—along with decades of service on national boards, editorial roles, and leadership positions that have shaped the entire ABA profession.
