Neurospicy SA aims to forge a society where neurodivergent adults in the San Antonio area feel connected, supported, and valued — through inclusive programs, strong peer communities, and environments that nurture mental health and overall well-being. We are a local group that focuses on the socialization and relationship-building of neurodivergent (neurospicy) adults (ages 18+) and the sharing of

experience, knowledge, and advice between parents/guardians of neurospicy people in our community. We wish for those with similar struggles and strengths to bond, learn from each other, and feel safe around others in a welcoming space.

Good evening, everyone. We want to write a formal apology to those who had attended tonight's Neurospicy Networking event. The hosts did not let me know that they would be absent. It is our sincerest apologies for those that showed up. We promise to be more vigilant with watching over our volunteers and team to make sure they are communicating with us effectively. Once again, we are truly sorry for the disappointment and inconvenience.

Looking for a low-pressure space to meet other neurodivergent adults? Come hang out with us! 🍕

Neurospicy SA's Adult Social is a monthly meetup for neurospicy folks ages 30+ to connect, chat, and just exist around people who get it — no masking required. Whether you're autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, or otherwise neurodivergent, this is your space to relax, make friends, and enjoy good food and good company.

Venue Partners Needed: Help Us Find a Home for Our Community! 🧠💛

Neurospicy SA is growing, and we're on the hunt for a San Antonio businesses or organizations willing to partner with us on space!

What we're looking for:
✅ ADA accessible commercial space
✅ Comfortable seating for up to 40 people
✅ Availability after 6pm on weekdays and weekends
✅ A small room or area for storage
✅ Use of the space at no cost
✅ Must be neurodivergent-friendly
✅ Not a restaurant, but a quiet place
✅ Must have FREE parking spots

What you get in return:
- We'll tag and credit your organization in photos taken at your facility during our events, giving you visibility with our engaged San Antonio community of neurodivergent adults and allies.
- We're a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and we'd formalize the partnership with a clear MOU and space-use agreement so both sides know exactly what to expect — no surprises, just a mutually beneficial relationship built on respect.

ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT ADMITTING NEW MEMBERS & JOINING OUR EVENTS:

Good afternoon, everyone! Meredith, our executive director, has been bedridden and sick for the last few days, but is doing better. She has a lot to catch up on now and is going to continue working on admitting new members and contacting them, but if you have just applied, even within the last two weeks, we appreciate everyone's patience, as she is the only person working on the many applications coming in, along with many other duties an executive director has to do. She will be away seeing family starting this Friday, 8/14, and will be back in the office next Wednesday, 8/19, but will be working periodically during the week. We appreciate your patience!

Please give us a few weeks to catch up and get back to everyone who has applied. It's going to take some time for Meredith to get back to you about your application if she hasn't already.

NOTE: We have plenty of space to grow. So, please still apply to join us if you haven't already!

FOR ALREADY ADMITTED MEMBERS: There will be no Sunday Social this week as there is no one to host; however, our Friday social this week and our online Tuesday social and Wednesday in-person social next week are still on!
