PSA: The continuous trail network from San Antonio to Austin doesn't exist... YET!👀 But at Great Springs Project, we're working with partners across the region, from the Alamo to the Texas Capitol, to expand and connect trail systems to each other, creating the Texas Bicentennial Trail by 2036.

So naturally, our CEO, Garry, thought the best way to celebrate this mission was to walk the whole thing🤷 This weekend, he is making the trek from the Alamo to the Texas Capitol and stopping at four iconic springs.💧

He'll hike the planned route of the Texas Bicentennial Trail network, meeting with project partners and trail builders along the way, identifying the gaps, and enjoying the beautiful trails that exist today.

The City of San Antonio is offering financial assistance for people to buy e-bikes as part of a federal grant-funded effort to reduce carbon emissions. Applications open July 14.

San Antonio is extending its low-income e-bike rebate program with $181K in new DOE funding. Applications open July 14 for 181 $1,000 vouchers, awarded by lottery, with forms in English and Spanish.
