Three very deserving dogs officially got their happily ever afters, and our hearts could not be more full. ❤️

First up is Mr. Paddington Fluff, our stunning chocolate husky malamute mix who was rescued alongside his sister in the middle of a busy four-way intersection in San Antonio, Texas during rush-hour traffic. Today, this beautiful boy now gets to call Tacoma, Washington home.

Next is Darling, our sweet wire-haired terrier mix who was found the day after her puppies were rescued from inside a storm drain underneath I-37 in South San Antonio. After everything she’s been through, Darling is now living the life she deserves in Portland, Oregon.

And finally, Aries — a boy who holds an incredibly special place in Destiny and Arika’s hearts. Two years ago, Arika rescued Aries’ dad, Grandpa, making him her very first Texas rescue dog. About six months later, Aries crossed her path. At the time, he technically had owners, but they were struggling to properly care for the dogs on the property. Arika stepped in to provide resources, helping get Aries and the rest of the dogs vaccinated and fixed.

Fast forward two years, and the family moved away, leaving the dogs behind. During that time, Aries would randomly appear throughout the neighborhood, and every time we saw him, we made sure he was fed and cared for. After extensive medical care, patience, and love, Aries is finally getting the fresh start he always deserved — all the way in Seattle, Washington.

Stories like these are only possible because of incredible adopters, supporters, fosters, and every single person who donates to our cause. Because of you, dogs just like Paddington, Darling, and Aries get a second chance at the lives they were always meant to have.

Our big boy Tramp has officially been ADOPTED! 🐾❤️

This sweet scruffy boy hopped on the adoption school bus and made his way all the way to Pennsylvania to start his new life with his mom, Alex, and his giant big brother Ralphie.

Tramp’s story started in a Dollar General parking lot after closing, where he was found by his foster mom’s daughter. If it wasn’t for her stopping to help that night, his entire little family may never have been saved. Because of that one moment, Tramp, his sister, and their mama all got a second chance at life.

Now, every single one of them has officially been adopted, and our hearts could not be fuller. ❤️ Tramp is settling into his forever home in Pennsylvania, and his mama heads to her forever home in Oregon on Thursday.

Congratulations to Alex and Tramp on finding each other and starting this beautiful new chapter together. From a parking lot to a forever home full of love… this is exactly why we do what we do. 🐶

Okay we have a new adoption testing request. One of our longest residents has the opportunity to go to an amazing home in Oregon. But the adopter has a 40yr old African grey parrot that the adopter has had since the parrot was a baby and she has had since she was 20 years old. To we need to parrot test out spicy girl Punkin. If anyone has a parrot that they feel comfortable letting us bird test in a controlled environment we have an amazing opportunity to get Punkin a forever home!!! Please help us help her get a family!!

This girl is the definition of “I would die for you” energy after knowing you for approximately 12 minutes and 32 seconds. If you move rooms? She’s coming too. Crying? She’s there. Anxiety spiral at 2am? Perfect — she already brought the emotional support cuddles and her personal weight as a preheated blanket and is prepared to stare at you like you hung the moon.

Darling loves HARD. Like “Disney princess with unresolved attachment issues” hard. And honestly? After everything she’s been through, she deserves someone who loves her just as deeply back.

She’s holding out for her forever person — preferably someone who enjoys constant companionship, dramatic sighs when she’s not touching you, and a permanent weighted blanket with four legs. She’s fully prepared to be your loyal sidekick, even though everyone knows she’s actually the main character. 💅🐾

Darling’s dream life includes:

• Being told she’s pretty at least 47 times a day

• Emotional support duties
• Following you to the bathroom. Resting her head on your leg while you use the restroom

Lady is almost ready for her furever home. She has an amazing foster with all of the kiddos she could ever dream of. She just needs some kids of her very own!!! 🚨 URGENT: 4-DAY TEMP FOSTER NEEDED 🚨

We are in desperate need of a temporary foster for TWO dogs for just 4 days.

Their current foster can no longer keep them and is threatening to release them back where they were originally found — a known dumping ground. We cannot let that happen.

These dogs are:
• About 1 year old
• Fully vetted
• Crate trained
• Potty trained

They have already been through enough and deserve safety, even if it’s just for a few days while we secure something more permanent.
