Farewell, Sweet Pea! 🫛✈️🏔️

Our sweet girl is officially getting ready for her next adventure! 🥹🖤 She’s waiting on her flight angel, Kim, to help get her from San Antonio all the way to Denver, where her forever family is SO excited to finally meet her! 🏡🐾

Sweet Pea’s flight has been delayed a little because of the bad weather headed our way, but that’s okay — her happily ever after is worth the wait! 🥹

From a stray needing someone to give her a chance… to having a FAMILY waiting for her hundreds of miles away. THIS is why we do what we do. 😭🫛

A HUGE thank you to Southwest Airlines Program SWATT Transport for helping rescue dogs like Sweet Pea make that final journey home. Programs like this make out-of-state adoptions possible and help our Texas street pups reach the families they’ve been waiting for. 🖤

⚠️ PLEASE BRING YOUR PETS INSIDE BEFORE THE BAD WEATHER HITS. ⚠️

Heavy rain and flooding can turn deadly FAST. Your dog may normally stay in the yard, know their boundaries, or never try to escape—but fear changes everything. Thunder, strong winds and rising water can cause terrified dogs to panic, jump fences, break out of yards and RUN.

🚨 AND PLEASE—DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG CHAINED OR TETHERED OUTSIDE.

During flooding, a chained dog has NO WAY TO ESCAPE rising water. Dogs have drowned because they were tethered and physically could not get themselves to safety. 💔

🐾 Bring them indoors.
🐾 Secure gates and fences.
🐾 Keep collars with identification ON.
🐾 Make sure microchip information is current.
🐾 Take pets outside on a LEASH during the storm.
🐾 NEVER chain or tether an animal during severe weather.

Even if the flooding is expected to be temporary, it only takes minutes for conditions to become dangerous.

Please share this. Someone may see it and bring their dog inside because of you. 🧡🍂

🎃🍂 NO TRICKS… LIONEL JUST WANTS A FOREVER HOME! 🍂🎃

Our handsome boy Lionel just turned ONE and his only spooky-season wish is to find a family of his own. 🥹🧡

Apparently nobody told him Texas is approximately 400 degrees because this boy STILL wants to be outside. 😂☀️

Forget pumpkin spice… Lionel is the sweetest thing you need this fall. 🎃🧡

He’s ready for crisp-weather adventures, Halloween movie cuddles, pumpkin-patch pictures and, most importantly, a family that will love him through every season. 🍁🏡

🖤 Meet Frank – Your New Favorite Shadow if you like personal space he’s not your guy🖤

If you’ve ever wished for a best friend who thinks the sun rises and sets with you, then it’s time to meet Frank.

This handsome, all-black, 15-pound dachshund has one life mission: to love his person with his whole heart. Wherever you go, Frank is right behind you, looking at you like you personally hung the moon and the stars just for him. Whether you’re folding laundry, cooking dinner, or relaxing on the couch, he’s happiest simply being by your side.

Frank has the sweetest, most easygoing personality. He gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes—from tiny pups to giant breeds—and takes life one tail wag at a time. He’s a professional cuddler who loves curling up beside you, claiming your lap as his favorite spot, and at bedtime, don’t be surprised if he burrows under the covers to sleep right next to you or on top of you, think of him like a body guard.

We’re still working on potty training, and Frank is making great progress every day. With a little consistency and patience, he’ll continue to thrive in his forever home.

Frank is available for pre-adoption while he completes his medical care, giving his future family the opportunity to fall in love with him before he’s officially ready to go home.
