On his first official visit outside Washington, D.C., Ambassador Jakub Kulhánek accompanied Petr Pavel to Nebraska. During their visit, they met with leaders of the Nebraska National Guard, engaged with students and faculty at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, held talks with Governor Jim Pillen, and visited Wilber, the “Czech Capital of the USA,” where they met members of the Czech-American community.

Thank you for the warm welcome and for the excellent cooperation and support of the Czech Consulate General in Chicago.

The Czech Republic has been ranked among the world’s 20 richest countries in a new global prosperity index that measures not only economic output, but also how evenly wealth is distributed and how it affects quality of life.

In the HelloSafe Prosperity Index 2026, Czechia placed 19th out of 31 advanced economies worldwide and 13th in Europe, narrowly ahead of France and the United Kingdom.

The Czech Republic comes in at 19 in a new Prosperity Index, ahead of France and the UK thanks to low income inequality and strong social indicators.

BCHS had a great time at the San Antonio Fiesta Battle of the Flowers parade this year Vychodniarske songs and Moravian Dechovka were the stars of the show 💃🏽

Our kroje may but have been perfect this year, we put together folk fashion from the materials we had, but next year we will be partnering with the Grmela family for kroje rentals ✨
