Hello and welcome to all new and current members of the Good Grief Social Group! My name is Patrice Taylor, and I’m honored to be the founder of this supportive community. I was widowed in 2017 at the age of 35 with two small children, and like many of you, I know how isolating grief can feel. In 2019, I began my work in the widow community, starting this social group to help widows and widowers step out of their homes and connect with others who understand the journey of loss.

What started as a small local group has now grown to nearly 1000 people, and I’m incredibly grateful for each of you. The creation of our nonprofit allows us to reach even more in our community and surrounding areas, offering support, understanding, and friendship. Together, we remind ourselves that while grief is part of our story, it doesn’t have to steal our happiness. We’re here to rebuild, to laugh, and to live again with joy.

Thank you for being part of this incredible group! Let’s continue supporting one another as we navigate this journey together.
