To every person who donated to our Widows and Widowers nonprofit—thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Your generosity is more than a donation; it’s a reminder that our community is seen, valued, and loved. Because of your kindness, we can continue creating safe spaces where widows and widowers find hope, healing, friendship, and support as they navigate life after loss.

Every gift, no matter the size, helps us make a meaningful difference. Thank you for believing in our mission and for standing with us as we remind those who are grieving that they never have to walk this journey alone.

We are deeply grateful for your compassion and support. Together, we are turning grief into hope and building a stronger, more connected community.

Healing does not mean forgetting. It means learning how to carry your loss while continuing to live. The goal is not to “move on” from the person you lost, but to move forward with their love and memory as part of your journey.

Our nonprofit Good Grief Social Group sponsored dinner tonight for The Children's Bereavement Center. I would like to give a big thank you to these amazing ladies who came to help with our community service event this evening. I truly appreciate y’all. Thank you to everyone who donated items. We are stronger together. If you know a widow or widower in the area tell them about the San Antonio Widow And Widowers Social Group Don’t fight grief alone.

Daily Encouragement 💛

Today, take it one moment at a time. You don’t have to have it all together—you just have to keep going.

Even in your grief, there is strength in you. Even in your tears, there is healing happening.

You are allowed to miss them and still move forward. Both can exist.

Breathe. You’re doing better than you think. 🕊️

There is a community that sees you, feels you, and understands.
You don’t have to walk this journey by yourself.

Healing doesn’t mean the pain is gone. It means you’re learning to live again—with love still present.

I always say trust the process. Trusting the process when dealing with grief doesn’t mean the pain disappears or that healing is neat and predictable.
Allowing your feelings without judging them
Some days you may feel strong, other days completely undone. Trusting the process means letting sadness, anger, numbness, or even moments of joy exist without telling yourself you’re “doing grief wrong.”
