Jesus loves middle schoolers. And while 6-8th grade can be an awkward and difficult season in a kid’s life, it is also what we call “100 Days of Significance” in Young Life, because we know that middle schoolers are growing by leaps and bounds intellectually, socially, and spiritually. Earlier this month, we enjoyed a beautiful weekend at LoneHollow Ranch with hundreds of our middle school friends from around South Texas, reminding them that their story matters, that God is deeply passionate about them, and that Jesus gave His life to rescue and redeem them.

Young Life leaders are about making kids KNOWN. Knowing kids by name, praying for kids by name, and inviting them to know their true purpose. Currently, 4,414 San Antonio youth are known and being prayed for city-wide by our staff, leaders, volunteers, and committee members.

TONIGHT, YES, TONIGHT!! Fall Young Life clubs kicked off all over San Antonio last week, and over a thousand kids in our city have already said "yes" to the invitation to join the fun. A year from now, many will look back to these silly photos and say, "that's when everything started to change."

Jesus, in his perfect love and timing, transforms our hearts one at a time. But often his invitation begins with a party that everyone's invited to! This is the spirit of Young Life club: come as you are, wherever you are, and meet the One who never leaves any of us the same.

We had an amazing week taking our and high schoolers to for summer camp! THANK YOU to all of you who generously made possible over 400 YL camp experiences for kids from across San Antonio this summer. The gospel of Jesus is moving powerfully in the lives of these precious kids!
