Another successful matchup! BUDDY AND JAGZ! Both boys are found dumped outside and are now a pair ready to find a forever home!!

Squidward , a handsome neutered male ( almost 2 yrs old) meeting Stella , a beautiful blond with Ruby eyes. First time at the barrier, we hope she likes younger males!! This boy was born at the rescue and has be rejected by several diva girls - lets keep our fingers crossed!

For years, Second Chance Cavy Rescue has been saving guinea pigs with the invaluable support of fosters. However, we get daily requests to take in more and just don't have the space or available fosters.

Meet & Greet at the Stone Oak Petsmart, 12 April from 11 - 4.
I’ll have the following guinea pigs there. I do have 2 adopters coming to meet these pairs to choose their perfect match! Anyone welcome to come see, hold, and learn about guinea pigs. If you foster or own piggies you can bring them for health, gender checks and grooming/nail trims!

Tip of the Day-Allergies to guinea pigs or the hay? This is the number ONE reason for people rehoming guinea pigs! What I would suggest is BEFORE you adopt, take your whole family and spend a couple of hours handling guinea pigs and exposing yourself to the timothy hay they eat. If your child has pollen allergies , seasonal allergies or asthma, breathing issues, you may want to test it out before adopting guinea pigs. They have got to have hay, it is 80% of their essential diet.
