Jr. Hornets Football & Cheer Working with Today's Children to Build Tomorrow's Leaders The Jr. Hornets were founded in 2010 by a group of dedicated and well hearted parents and volunteers.

Our purpose is to provide youth within the San Antonio area an opportunity to play football without prejudice and participate in cheerleading to learn the skills necessary to compete and become future leaders of tomorrow. Our intentions are to use sports and cheerleading as a tool to develop hard work, discipline, and the fundamentals of perseverance by using these sports to help teach skills of teamwork loyalty and sportsmanship.

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the death of my beloved husband, Paul “P.J” Mitchell, who passed away on February 20th, 2024. P.J passed away so unexpectedly. We will all miss him more than words can express. The funeral service information is below for those that would like to attend.
