Greater San Antonio Chamber Since 1894, The Chamber works to ensure San Antonio remains a great place to live, work, and play. We do not receive any public funding.

The Chamber is a 501 (c) 6 organization that is fully supported by our memberships and revenue from our events and sponsorships. This is so we may provide balanced, non-partisan support for our members in advocacy, networking events, marketing support and workforce development.

🎉 Our Annual All Members Meeting, presented by Pam Health, was a meeting of the minds and mascots. Our recap will leave you inspired about the future of our community and entertained by the antics of the Spurs Coyote (San Antonio Spurs), Ballapeno (San Antonio Missions Baseball Club), and other beloved local figures!

Mission Possible: accomplished. 🪖💻🚀

Day 6 took LSA Class 50 (Leadership San Antonio) on an action-packed journey through the military legacy, technology, research and innovation helping shape San Antonio’s future.

From honoring veterans and experiencing a military working dog demonstration at Tech Port San Antonio to exploring cybersecurity, gaming and hands-on technology, the class got an inside look at how San Antonio’s military presence continues to fuel innovation and workforce development across our region.

At Southwest Research Institute, the conversation turned to what’s next, with a firsthand look at the research, engineering and emerging technologies creating new possibilities for San Antonio.

Then it was time to put leadership into action. 💪 Class members wrapped up the day by taking on a Special Warfare obstacle course at Pearl, challenging them to communicate, collaborate and perform under pressure.

“Mission Possible” challenged Class 50 physically, intellectually and collaboratively while showing that San Antonio’s legacy and innovation don’t just coexist, they work together to shape what comes next.

Another unforgettable day of learning, leadership and connection for LSA Class 50! 🙌

San Antonio voters made their voices heard last November when they approved Proposition B, authorizing Bexar County's portion of funding for a new downtown Spurs arena. During Monday's special session, City Council voted 6-5 to reject a proposal that would have placed the City's $489 million contribution on the November 2026 ballot, signaling the Council's intent to continue advancing the project while recognizing the outcome of the previous voter-approved initiative.

During the meeting, Greater San Antonio Chamber Chair Kevin Dinnin spoke on behalf of the Chamber, urging City Council to respect the decision made by voters in November.

He encouraged City Council to carefully review the proposed agreement, protect taxpayers, and ensure the Spurs organization meets its obligations, while recognizing that oversight should not mean restarting a process that voters have already decided.

The members that voted against placing the measure on the ballot-- City Council District 1 Councilmember Dr. Sukh Kaur, D3 Councilmember Phyllis Viagran, Councilwoman Marina Alderete Gavito, San Antonio City Council District 7, Councilwoman Ivalis Meza Gonzalez, San Antonio City Council District 8, D9 Councilwoman Misty D. Spears, and City Council District 10 Councilmember Marc Whyte. Councilmembers that voted in favor of the measure--Mayor Gina Ortiz Jones, City Council District 2 Councilmember Jalen McKee-Rodriguez, D4 Councilmember Edward Mungia, City Council District 5 Councilmember Teri Castillo, and City Council District 6 Councilmember Ric Galvan.

Our Annual All Members Meeting & Mixer brought the Greater San Antonio Chamber community together at The DoSeum for an evening centered around big ideas, meaningful connections and a little bit of play.
