Carol Davis (handler) and Shiloh are the heart of reading time at Schertz Public Library. As a dedicated reading pawtner, Shiloh does what he does best—staying right by his buddies’ side, offering calm, comfort, and encouragement with every story.

Whether it’s a quiet moment on the floor or a page-turning adventure, Shiloh helps build confidence and a love for reading—one child at a time.

Clarity regarding our organization

Canines for Christ Therapy Dog Ministry is an independent organization and is not affiliated with, a part of, or related to Comfort Canines for Christ, Canines for Christ of Southwest Ohio, or Canines for Christ St. Augustine in any way. While we share a passion for therapy dog ministry and service to our communities, our organizations operate independently and autonomously. Unlike the other entities, we are an international ministry with over 1200 members in 38 states and eight foreign countries.

Any similarities in our names are purely coincidental, and there is no organizational or operational connection between Canines for Christ Therapy Dog Ministry and the aforementioned organizations. We operate with our own mission, values, and leadership.

We appreciate the work of other organizations in this field and respect their contributions, but we want to ensure clarity regarding our distinct identity and operations.
