Fighting to End Domestic Violence We Speak For The Silent! In 2004 after leaving an abusive relationship, I was shot in the neck by my ex-boyfriend, while picking up my daughters from his home.

I'm paralyzed now, I finally realized, I have a voice, I was left here & my life was spared for a reason. I find it my duty to do what I can & try save a life even if it's one VOICE @ a time. Simply because I was spared mine. LOVE is PATIENT, LOVE is KIND, LOVE isn't not violent or intimidating. NO ONE IS IMMUNE when it comes to Domestic Violence!

At some point we're all affected by Domestic Violence. It has hit close to home for me & my daughters. I use my voice as a tool of warning signs, experiences, doing Speaking Engagements throughout several Community Events.
