SAEAS is proud to support our partner (upcoming Grant Writing Workshop in January) ’s fundraiser. CAM, like SAEAS, is a grassroots arts organization that brings curators from across Texas, the country, and beyond to curate an annual exhibition of San Antonio artists (the CAM Perennial). This event gives opportunities for the artists they have studio visits with to be known outside of our city. CAM also manages the annual event, Contemporary Art Month with a special calendar open to San Antonio artists of all disciplines, creating an exciting month in March each year for art lovers to go see art (CAM-a-lot!). CAM is entirely funded by donations from the community and local businesses, and all funds raised go directly to CAM activities, such as bringing the curator to San Antonio for studio visits and the exhibition opening (this year’s curator will be traveling from New Mexico), exhibition expenses, promotion expenses, CAM Kick-off and CAMmie Awards expenses and other events that CAM hosts throughout the year. Nina Hassle has a great collection of art and this will be a great opportunity to add to your collection or start your art collection, or find that perfect goft for someone else while supporting a very worthy arts org in San Antonio that is a great friend of SAEAS.
