We’re excited to join Idle B**r Hall & Brewery for their 3rd birthday celebration!

Come hang out with us, learn more about Alianza Raíces Vivas and regenerative ranching, and enjoy some regeneratively raised beef sliders. Marcos will be there ask him questions or if you want to buy some meat!

We’ll be serving sliders starting at 11:30 AM, while supplies last, so come early!

We’ll also have information available about our ranch, our approach to regenerative agriculture, and how you can support and connect with what we’re building at ARV.

It’s almost time! Next weekend, from the 25th through the 27th, join us in Leakey and Concan, Texas, for TerraTx Art Fest. The festival is free to attend and family friendly!

David Casillas and Red from Alianza Raíces Vivas will be there sharing stories, history, and insights about the enduring legacy of the vaquero.

David will be exploring how vaquero traditions continue to influence ranching, conservation, and our relationship with the land today.

Red, who apprenticed under David, will share his experiences studying charro traditions and their influence on the modern cowboy through poetry, song, and storytelling.

Our good friends Mace Elias and Arturo Carrillo will also be there, along with an incredible group of artists, storytellers, and creatives.

David and Red are getting in the reps with Rebelde! Under David’s guidance, Red is learning more each day about working with Rebelde and the style he responds to best.

As a working horse, Rebelde needs to be comfortable and responsive in different situations. In this video, we’re showing both open rein and closed rein, along with the progress Rebelde has made as he works with different riders.

Finally, we’ve made it to our cattle! As part of our morning routine, we check on the herd, make sure they have what they need, and take time to look over their overall health and condition.

From feeding and checking their water to looking for cuts, scratches, or anything that may need attention, these daily checks are an important part of responsible livestock care. It’s about knowing your animals and being there for them every day.
