Society of Native Nations is a Non-Profit 501(C)(3) Organization based out of San Antonio Texas. This is our Non-Profit PUBLIC page, PLEASE everyone like it , follow it, contribute to it, but PLEASE do not post or say anything that will get you kicked off this page. This page is where schools, other organizations, parents and children will be able to visit and get more information about u

s and the work we are doing within the community. The Society of Native Nations (SNN) is an organization founded by a small group of Native people in Texas that are dedicated to advocating for our people and the earth by helping to protect and preserve our native culture, spirituality, teachings, medicine and way of life. Each of our founding members has experience working with our people and other organizations and brings a unique set of values and perception to SNN. Exposure and witness to racism, appropriation, and exploitation of our way of life has compelled each of us to stand united against social injustice. Our teachings tell us that Creator tasked Native people to be the "keepers of the earth". We believe we are environmentally conscious through our DNA and because our lifeways and culture parallel the health of Mother Earth. Through ancestral memories, prayer and determination we strive to bring a positive change to our people and the earth.

STOP THE DESERT SOUTHWEST PIPELINE EXPANSION

Energy Transfer is proposing a massive new natural gas pipeline project that would cut across Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona, with 516 miles of 42-inch pipeline and 9 compressor stations.

This is not just about “energy reliability.”

Energy Transfer’s own announcement says this project is being driven in part by high-tech industry demand and data center expansion.

That means more fossil fuel infrastructure to power the AI boom.

More pipelines.
More compressor stations.
More methane risk.
More pollution.
More sacrifice zones.
More burden on communities, lands, waters, and future generations.

At a time when communities are already being asked to pay more for water, energy, and basic needs, corporations are building infrastructure to feed massive tech energy demand, not community well-being.

We cannot allow AI and data centers to become the next excuse for expanding fossil fuels across the Southwest.

Our communities deserve clean air, safe water, real consultation, and a just transition, not another pipeline locking us into decades of gas dependence.

We say NO to the Desert Southwest Pipeline Expansion.

Communities over AI energy demand.
People over profit.
Planet over fossil fuel expansion.

Contact your Governor
Contact your state legislators
Contact pipeline regulators
Demand public hearings
Ask your city or county to oppose the project
Tell leaders: No new fossil fuel infrastructure for the AI boom

San Antonio families are being told they must pay 33% more for water and sewer services over the next four years, while at the same time the State continues giving tax breaks and incentives to massive AI data centers that consume enormous amounts of water and energy.

This is backwards policy. Residents should not be forced to carry the financial burden while billion-dollar corporations receive subsidies for projects that place increasing pressure on our water resources, energy grid, and frontline communities.

Water is a public necessity, not a corporate giveaway.

As Texas faces worsening drought conditions, rising utility costs, and growing concerns over sustainability, we need transparency, accountability, and policies that prioritize people and Planet over unchecked industrial expansion.

Who is really benefiting, and who is paying the price?

SAWS trustees voted unanimously to support a 33% rate hike for water and sewer customers over the next four years, sending the request to City Council for final approval. bit.ly/4uoyePR

‼️ALERT: The President has proposed a federal budget that would shift funding priorities away from programs and services that support the safety, housing, education, and wellbeing of Native Peoples and others across the country. The proposal increases support for areas such as military spending, imprisonment, and unregulated energy extraction while putting VITAL PROGRAMS AT RISK.

If enacted, these funding cuts could harm Native Nations, undermine sovereignty, and impact the wellbeing of the next generations.

📣 ACTION: Contact your Senators and Representatives and urge them to protect Native Nation sovereignty, safeguard vital programs, and prioritize the wellbeing of the people.
