PAM Media Outreach

PAM Media Outreach Mission: To help guide high school youth in “Urban Communities” through experiences that will empower them to become tomorrow’s community leaders.

The objective of this program is to empower our Inner-City and Urban High School youths to develop their leadership skills; increase their self-esteem; build on their communication; apply their experience in the community; and commit to going back to their High School communities to give back! The goal is to have 16-25 youth leaders to organize a youth summit at their school and in their immediate community.

I had a truly proud moment today watching our Westside Engagement Youth Leaders. Their dedication has been incredible. They show up consistently on Saturdays and on any other day that I ask them to meet. Their commitment, focus, and willingness to grow as leaders are something special to witness.

Today was our second to last meeting as we continue rehearsing their presentation in preparation for meeting with their District City Councilwoman. These young leaders have created a 19 slide presentation, and I am proud to say that 98 percent of the content came directly from them. Their ideas, their experiences, and their voices shaped every part of it. This was truly their vision and their purpose. What they are presenting comes straight from their hearts.

My role has simply been to guide, encourage, and help create the space for their voices to grow stronger.

Watching them rehearse their slides, encourage one another, and speak with confidence reminds me that leadership is already growing right here on the Westside.

I also want to express my sincere appreciation to Pastor Vincent Robinson and his beautiful wife, Maria Robinson. The love they have shown P.A.M. Media Outreach and the youth in this community is truly a blessing. By opening the doors of Harper’s Chapel and allowing us to continue sowing into the community we strive and are happy to pour into, they are helping build something powerful for the next generation.

They have some big initiatives ahead of them, and I am grateful that they trust P.A.M. Media Outreach to help guide them to the next level of their personal leadership mission.

Remember their names: Leo, Adrian, Angie, and Aurelio from the P.A.M. Media Outreach "Outside of the School Walls" Westside Engagement Youth Leaders.

Look out, San Antonio. The voices of the Westside's youth are rising.

Today, P.A.M. Media Outreach had the honor of presenting our Leadership Program to the executive team at KSAT 12 along with several industry executive leaders.

During this meeting, we shared the mission and impact of P.A.M. Media Outreach and pitched our presentation deck outlining the vision for expanding youth leadership development across our communities. Our discussion focused on how media and community collaboration can help amplify the voices of the young leaders we serve.

A special thank you to Buddy Calvo for helping bring our story to life through the art of video. His creative storytelling captured the heart of our work in a powerful three-minute presentation.

One of the most powerful moments of the meeting came when Terrell Graves shared his testimony. Terrell has been part of the P.A.M. Media Outreach Leadership Program since its very first year. A graduate of Sam Houston High School, he will graduate this May from Prairie View A&M University. Terrell even traveled from Houston early this morning to stand with us and represent the program.

Moments like this demonstrate the power of investing in youth leadership and mentorship.
We are grateful for the opportunity to share the vision of P.A.M. Media Outreach with leaders in media and industry and look forward to continuing the work of empowering underserved youth through leadership development.

The future of leadership begins with our youth.

This past Saturday at 10:00 a.m., our Westside Youth Engagement Leads showed what real leadership looks like.

They were on time, focused, and prepared as they continue building toward an upcoming presentation with their City Council representative. Their dedication and commitment to excellence reflect the strength of youth leadership across the Westside community.

Through our P.A.M. Media Outreach Leadership Organization Outside of the School Walls initiative, these young leaders are advancing to the next level. The skills they developed last semester are now being applied in real-world civic engagement and community expansion.

They are leading in two key areas:
• Expanding youth leadership opportunities throughout the Westside community
• Training and developing the next group of youth leaders at Harper’s Chapel

This is what sustainable youth leadership looks like.
This is what community partnership looks like.
This is what investment in youth voice produces.

We are proud of the leadership rising from the Westside.

This week, I had the incredible honor of presenting gift certificates to our outstanding youth leaders who placed in the Poetry Slam at our Boots, Beats and Big Dreams Fundraiser.

These young leaders did not just perform. They commanded the stage with courage, confidence, and purpose.

1st Place
Daniel Roque – John F. Kennedy High School
Community Partner: Alan Blair

2nd Place
Dakari Bailey – Sam Houston High School
Community Partner: Terrell Graves, Sam Houston graduate

3rd Place
Samarra Ramsey – St. Philip’s Early College High School
Community Partner: Amy Bloest

4th Place
Jocelyn Munoz – St. Philip’s Early College High School
Community Partner: Maritza Cirlos

What makes this experience so meaningful is not just the competition, but the collaboration. Each student was paired with a community partner, bridging generations, experience, and voice. That is leadership in action.

I am incredibly proud of each of these youth leaders and deeply grateful to the community partners who stood beside them. This is what happens when we create intentional space for young people to be heard.

The future is bold. The future is articulate. The future is now.

With a little delay, we are excited to finally share this recap video from our first annual Boots, Beats & Big Dreams fundraiser.

Of course, we have already shared some still photos, but I also wanted to share this recap video because it truly captures the heart of the evening.

What a powerful night of storytelling, courage, and community.

Our youth leaders stood on that stage with confidence and purpose. Their voices were bold. Their message was clear. And the room was filled with belief in the next generation.

This event was more than a fundraiser. It was a reminder that when we invest in underserved youth, we invest in stronger communities.

Thank you to everyone who supported, sponsored, attended, and prayed over this vision. We are just getting started.

For nine years, P.A.M. Media Outreach has developed youth leaders inside schools through structured leadership programming and Teen Summits.

This school year, we expanded.
Through our partnership with Pastor Vincent Robinson and Harper’s Chapel, we stepped into the Westside community to bring leadership development beyond the classroom.

Today, we officially introduce:
Outside the School Walls
This initiative is designed to reach youth and young adults directly within the community by providing leadership training, mentorship, accountability, and real-world practicum experiences.

Leadership should not be limited by location. Watch this video to see the heart behind the expansion and the impact already taking place.

If you believe in empowering underserved youth through leadership development, we invite you to partner with us.

What a night to remember! Our first annual Boots, Beats, & Big Dreams Fundraiser was more than an event. It was a celebration of purpose, leadership, culture, and community coming together for our youth.

From the moment guests walked in, the energy was full of warmth, connection, and expectation. Smiles at the backdrop. Youth leaders being recognized. Community partners standing shoulder to shoulder. Every photo you see here represents a relationship, a seed planted, and a future being built.

We honored youth voices. We celebrated growth. We witnessed confidence on display. Seeing our youth leaders receive recognition and stand proudly in their moment was one of the most meaningful highlights of the evening. Our poetry slammers were at the top and the audience loved watching your life connections.

The stage moments were powerful. The fellowship was real. The laughter was loud. And yes, the boots, beats, and dancing brought the house together in joy.

This night showed what happens when community wraps around young people and says, “We see you. We believe in you. We are investing in your future.”

Thank you to every guest, sponsor, volunteer, partner, and supporter who showed up and showed love. I have a very special thank you to express to Maricela Espinoza-Garcia and T Rochelle Guess. We grew together and worked together and put on a great event. You all helped make history with us.

This is only the beginning.
More moments to come. More dreams to build. More youth to empower!
