Yesterday we were notified about this giant teddy bear who had apparently decided a local car repair shop was a perfectly good place to hang out. 😂

He made himself comfortable there for a while… until the shop cat ran him off. Yes, this enormous dog was apparently no match for the resident cat. 😂

So he wandered next door to Take 5, where the employees were sweet enough to let him hang out inside the office with them for the day while they tried to figure out where he belonged.

I swung by after work to see if he was still there and scan him for a microchip — and thankfully, HE HAD ONE! 🙌

I called it in, got his owners’ information, and they answered right away and made plans to come pick up their giant runaway teddy bear. ❤️

Turns out he didn’t even live very far away, but somehow this big guy had crossed a very busy road during his little adventure, so we’re incredibly thankful he ended up somewhere safe.

Just another reminder of how important microchips are — and to make sure the contact information registered to your pet’s chip is up to date! This could have been a very different story, but instead this handsome wanderer got to go home. 🐾❤️

And a big thank you to the employees at Take 5 for giving him a safe, air-conditioned place to hang out while he waited for his ride home. 😂

Bunny recently got a VERY dramatic makeover. 😂 Her coat was so badly matted that she had to be completely shaved down, and we cannot stop laughing at the tiny little dog that was hiding underneath all that hair. 😂🩷

Bunny is about 1½ years old and has the BEST personality. She’s sweet, playful, funny, spunky, affectionate, and great with other dogs. She’s just an all-around happy little girl who is so much fun to have around.

Bunny is currently finishing doxycycline for ehrlichiosis. Once she’s finished, she’ll be spayed and ready for her forever family! 🩷

If you’re looking for an adorable little sidekick with a big personality (and a temporarily questionable haircut 😂), Bunny might be your girl!

Titan is a handsome young Great Pyrenees with the sweetest smile and an even sweeter personality. This lovable boy is looking for a foster or forever family where he can continue building confidence and learning the skills he needs to thrive.

Titan loves people, enjoys the company of other dogs, and is ready for a fresh start with a family willing to invest a little time and patience in him. He isn’t neutered yet, so he’s looking for someone who can help him gain confidence and learn to walk on a leash so he can confidently walk into the clinic for his neuter appointment.

👑 Presenting His Royal Highness, Sir Triscuit of Cheddarshire III. 👑

Sir Triscuit has graciously agreed to entertain applications from commoners seeking the honor of becoming his personal staff (also known as his forever family).

As a distinguished member of the noble House of Cheddarshire, his ideal day consists of lounging in a warm lap, accepting belly rubs, and receiving tribute in the form of cheese… or, truthfully, just about any treat.

Unfortunately, life hasn’t always reflected his royal title.

This little gentleman was left behind when his family moved away. For who knows how long, he survived beneath parked cars in an apartment complex. When I finally found him, he came charging out from under a car barking like he was ready to defend his entire kingdom. The moment he realized he was safe, the brave little warrior disappeared, revealing one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet.

Despite everything, Sir Triscuit adores people. He’ll happily lean against your leg, climb into your lap, and soak up every belly rub you have to offer.

He walks well on a leash, kennels wonderfully, has been nothing but polite with our dogs, and has even been respectful with our cat. He doesn’t quite understand toys yet, and stairs are still a little intimidating—but he mastered the couch immediately. Every king deserves a proper throne.

Applications are now being accepted for the prestigious position of Royal Attendant, Official Belly Rub Provider, and Royal Cheese Steward. Compensation includes unlimited love, unwavering loyalty, and the extraordinary privilege of being loved by royalty. Only the most devoted commoners need apply. 👑🐾

If your idea of fun is hiking, swimming, exploring, road trips, and having a best friend who’s always ready for the next adventure…then keep reading.

At just 6 months old, Mabel is a smart, affectionate girl with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life! She absolutely loves the water—if she spots a pond, kiddie pool, or anything she can splash in, she’s diving right in! She also thinks pup cups are one of life’s greatest inventions. 🩵

Mabel has grown up on a farm around sheep and cows, so she definitely has a herding instinct and thrives when she has room to run, play, and stay busy. Because of her energy level, she would do best in a home with a yard and would not be a good fit for apartment living.

She’s the complete package:

🐾 Crate trained (sleeps quietly through the night)

🐾 Bruno Update 🐾

We truly thought Bruno had found his forever home, but unfortunately it wasn’t the right fit. Their resident dog never became comfortable with having another dog in the home. Despite being barked at, rushed, and snapped at, Bruno never reacted. He simply sat there like the sweet, gentle boy he is.

This return was absolutely no fault of Bruno’s. Sometimes even wonderful dogs just aren’t compatible.

So, our amazing boy is once again searching for his perfect forever family. We know his happy ending is out there—we just need to find the right match. ❤️

💔 This sweet boy is sleeping in a car every night… because his owner refuses to leave him behind.

Meet Bruno, a 2-year-old Staffordshire Terrier/Lab mix who desperately needs a foster or forever home.

Bruno’s owner recently lost her job and her home and relocated to Texas to be near her daughter. Unfortunately, her daughter’s apartment doesn’t allow pets. Rather than surrender Bruno or abandon him, she has been living in her car with him since June 5th, doing everything she can to keep him safe while searching for a home.

Now she’s asking for help—not because she doesn’t love him, but because she loves him enough to know he deserves more than life in a vehicle.

💉 Up to date on Rabies and Bordetella
🏡 House and potty trained
🦮 Leash trained

This sweet boy has done nothing wrong. He’s simply caught in the middle of an incredibly difficult situation.

We’re hoping to find Bruno a loving foster or forever family where he can finally relax, stretch out on a couch, and know he’s home.

✨ From 10 puppies down to just 3… ✨

These babies have been through more than any puppy ever should. 💔 When they were only 3 weeks old, their parents were poisoned, leaving this litter without mom and dad far too soon. But despite such a heartbreaking start, they have grown into the SWEETEST, happiest, most loving puppies.

Now all that’s left is finding forever families for the final three:

At about 5 months old, these adorable cuddle bugs are full of personality, love, and puppy fun. They are social, affectionate, great with kids and other dogs, and have even been around chickens! They LOVE playing outside and splashing in the water — especially Shark, who thinks he’s basically part fish. 🐟💦

They’re expected to be around 50–60 pounds full grown and are looking for homes where they’ll be cherished as true family members. They’ve already survived so much… now they deserve couches to nap on, toys to destroy, and humans to love forever. 🥹❤️

Darla may have come from a hoarding situation, but you would never know it by the amount of love she has to give. This sweet girl is the definition of gentle. She’s submissive with other dogs, happiest following her furry friends around, and absolutely adores people and kids. 💗

At almost 2 years old and 45 lbs, Darla is the perfect medium-sized companion. She’s house trained, kennel trained, easy on the leash, and has the cutest little brindle coat. Most importantly… she has the sweetest soul and just wants a family to love her forever. 🥹

From the euthanasia list… to fighting his way back to happiness… now all Benny needs is a forever family. 🥹

Benny’s story started with us rescuing him from the city shelter as a puppy. He was adopted and we hoped he had found his happily ever after… but somehow, Benny ended up back at the pound again after being hit by a car. His owners could not be reached, and once again, Benny found himself alone and needing help. 💔

Lucky Spot stepped in immediately. Benny underwent FHO surgery to repair his broken hip and even had to have several teeth removed. Through everything he’s endured, this sweet boy has remained loving, happy, and full of life.

Now Benny is a couple years old and thriving in foster care… but what he truly deserves is a forever home of his own. 🏡
