Mobility Worldwide San Antonio is hosting its Big Give Big Build, with an ambitious goal: build 35 mobility carts in ONE DAY for people with disabilities in developing countries. And they need YOU! No experience is necessary. Whether you're a veteran volunteer or brand new to service, there’s a place for you on the build team. Lions (and anyone with the heart of a Lion), let’s build hope—and change lives! ❤️

Saturday, September 5, 2026 | Mobility Worldwide, 219 E. Nakoma, San Antonio, TX

Choose one 3-hour shift—or volunteer for all four!
- Shift 1: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Shift 2: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
- Shift 3: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Shift 4: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

📍 Location: (Behind the building, on the loading-dock side)

Mobility Worldwide carts restore mobility, dignity, and independence to individuals who otherwise may have no way to get around. A few hours of your time can help change a life halfway around the world.

Bring your servant heart and willingness to help. Mobility Worldwide provides the tools, training, food and beverages.

What a fantastic day spent with local families at our Back-to-School Backpack Bonanza! It’s incredible what we can accomplish when we work together to serve our community! Huge thanks to Church of the Resurrection, United Methodist Church, Bexar Bibliotech, Buffalo Wild Wings, Arctic Ape Wild Desserts, Canes Chicken, and all the amazing volunteers who made this event possible. To our wonderful guests who received backpacks & school supplies, played games, won prizes, shared smiles, and enjoyed lunch — we wish you an amazing school year ahead. You’re awesome, and we know you’ll do great. ROAR!

One of the highlights of volunteering at Guide Dogs Of Texas is puppy socialization. It's amazing to watch these future guide dogs grow in confidence, curiosity, and resilience from such an early age. There are few things better than an evening spent helping future heroes take their very first steps. 💙🐶

Service is always better when we build together—literally!

Windcrest Lions joined fellow Lions in supporting San Antonio Habitat for Humanity's 50th Anniversary Build, where volunteers are constructing a home and wall frames for future homes in an incredible 50-hour build event.

Together, we spent the evening building interior wall frames that will one day become part of a family's new home. No matter your skill level, Habitat makes it easy to make a real difference—and it's amazing what a team of volunteers can accomplish in just a couple of hours.

This is what Lionism is all about: partnering with organizations that strengthen our communities and changing lives through service.

Now we're looking ahead to Lions Day with Habitat for Humanity on September 26. Want to be part of this? Join our Lions as we continue building homes, hope, and stronger communities!
