Radical Obedience with extravagant love expressed…A few ministry sharing photos depicted here, from short term mission journeys, sharing God’s message and application through relatable curriculum resources.
Thoughts associated with Lysa Terkeurst book “ Say Yes to God, and Walk in Faith”
“Matthew 26:13- The Woman and the Alabaster Jar of Fragrant Oil”
“The radically obedient person is blessed with an eternal perspective! The woman in the Bible, depicted with our
“Village to Village” lesson curriculum, points to radically expressing love for Christ! Normally in Bible times and still in many places of the world, oils are used on a dead body. But Mary anointed Jesus while he was still living! I believe it was so Jesus could carry the scent of this love, with him, to the cross. Mary was scolded by some disciples for wasting the expensive oil, to express her extravagant love to her Savior. How ironic, as she simply recognized Jesus’ extravagant love and grace for her, and she returned the love expression to him, before the cross.”
“Jesus saw it as the purest form of walking out the gospel message. She was willing to love him without reservations, without concern for what others might think, or any concern for herself! Jesus was quick to lavish his love right back on her, with truth in his word and response to the others watching; “I tell you the truth, wherever the gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done, will be told, in memory of her.”- Matthew 26:13
“Isn’t it amazing how God can use one actor of extravagant love and obedience, to have such far reaching effects?”
What happens when we say yes to God?
The world is forever changed!”
