Food and the Word Outreach Food & The Word Outreach Ministry is a faith-based nonprofit serving individuals and families experiencing food insecurity and homelessness.

We provide meals, essential supplies, and spiritual encouragement while sharing hope through action. FATWOM (Food and The Word Outreach Ministry) is a non profit organization dedicated to serving those who are food insecure, and the homeless by providing nourishment, both physical and spiritual. We are incredibly thankful and grateful to have served over 100 meals to our community today. One of the highlights was having several young children helping us serve. Watching their excitement, compassion, and willingness to help others was truly priceless.

The smiles on their faces reminded us that serving isn’t just about providing a meal—it’s about planting seeds of kindness, love, and compassion in the next generation.

Thank you to everyone who helped make today possible. Together, we’re making a difference one meal, one smile, and one act of kindness at a time. 🙏🏽

❤️🙏 Today was a good day.

The trays were full, the line was long, and God showed up.

Today, Food and the Word had the honor of serving over 200 people in our homeless community. We cooked, served, prayed, and shared a little love with everyone who came through.

A meal may seem small, but to someone else, it can mean everything.

Thankful for every volunteer, donor, and supporter who helped make today possible. God continues to remind me that ministry isn’t just inside four walls—sometimes it’s simply showing up and serving others with love.

💛 Outreach Monday | 100 Meals of Hope Served 💛

Today is Outreach Monday, and our team is heading out once again to serve our community with over 100 hot meals and words of encouragement.

Every meal represents more than food—it represents love, compassion, and the reminder that no one is forgotten. We are grateful for every volunteer, donor, and supporter who helps make this possible.

As we prepare to serve, we ask for your prayers for those we will encounter today. Pray that hearts are encouraged, needs are met, and lives are touched by the love of Christ.

“Rain or shine, we will continue to serve. 💛
Today we fed over 100 people, and despite the rain, we still showed up. So many thanked us for coming out in the weather, but this scripture reminds us why we do it:

‘For I was hungry and you gave Me food…’ — Matthew 25:35

When we serve others, we’re serving Him. 🙏

Even though the rain came down, we still showed up to serve our community — and together we provided over 100 meals to those in need.

So many people told us, “Thank you for coming out in the rain,” and “I can’t believe y’all still came.” Moments like that remind us why we do this. Rain or shine, love still shows up.

Thank you to every volunteer, supporter, and person who continues to stand with Food and the Word Outreach Ministry. Because of you, hearts were encouraged and stomachs were filled today.
