Legal Legacy Project’s first clinic, hosted at South San High School, was a success! We were able to help 32 people with their cases and awarded nearly $7,000 worth of legal aid, all in four hours! We offered support in various fields of law, including family law, immigration law, tax disputes, homeownership, probate/wills, employment disputes, and consumer law. We would like to thank South San ISD for hosting our legal aid clinic and for allowing us to work with the families in their district. Special thanks to South San High School’s counselor, Debbie Martinez, for her hand in logistical support. Thank you to our volunteer attorneys, Ricardo Reyna, Brigitte Garza, Carlos Hernandez, Bobby Maldonado, and Lisa Hernandez for their time and effort! We are grateful for the opportunity to work with communities as kind and caring as South San’s.

This past summer, LLP’s Take-A-Case Initiative was able to provide over $55,000 worth of legal aid to economically disadvantaged individuals across San Antonio by connecting them to volunteer attorneys willing to offer pro-bono services. If you or someone you know is in need of legal assistance, please reach out to us, and we will do our best to connect you with one of our volunteer attorneys.
