Today Culinary Arts students spent the day giving back to the community. Students prepped and served lunch to approximately 250 residents of Haven for Hope. It was a humbling experience to serve others and an opportunity for us to be thankful for all we have.

This week Culinary students learned about fruit and completed several labs including a little food science with canning. Students learned how to peel and “supreme” citrus, made orange marmalade, orange candied peels, poached pears in Earl Grey Tea and Apple Tarte Tatin. It was sweet time!
