So proud that our PSO girls were able to help Tyra with her annual toy drive for hospitalized children and local Oncology clinic! This year Tyra collected HUNDREDS of toys- more than any other year she has been doing the drive!

I know lots of us have been looking for ways to bring joy to someone but Covid makes it difficult. PSO Texas has the answer! Meet my friend, Tyra!
Tyra has some very big medical battles that she fights daily but they don’t stop her from being exactly what Project Sparkle On stands for!

Tyra turns 14 in a month & she has a very special birthday wish...

For the 6th year in a row, she wants to donate as many toys as possible to our children's hospital and her oncology clinic ❤️

Over the years she has collected and donated over 1000 toys and she is not going to let a pandemic get in her way this year !

We would LOVE if you could grab just 1 toy for a girl or boy and drop it off at our porch or ship to us ❤️ Unfortunately due to COVID we do not have any public drop off locations this year nor can we pick up or meet for toys. Toys have to be new, in their original packaging with no gift wrap for the hospital to accept them.

Now here's the crazy part... BECAUSE OF COVID WE HAVE TO GET THE TOYS DROPPED OFF TO THE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL A LITTLE EARLIER THIS YEAR 😱 We won’t be able to accept any donations after Sunday, December 13th.

Every little bit of help is so very needed, we know it has been a tough year for everyone. But there are kids spending their holidays in the hospital and this year they can’t even have much family with them.

After much searching please welcome our 4th and final Texas state Diamond Girl, Kalani!

Kalani is starting her junior year at James Madison High School. She is a Christian, a member of the International Thespian Society, Drama Club Co-Vice President, on her school’s drill team, and a part of the Children’s Ballet of San Antonio. When she’s not practicing with her teams or studying, you will find Kalani going to her church youth Bible study or volunteering. Kalani especially enjoys being a helper with the CBSA when she is partnered with special needs dancers. Kalani believes EVERYONE can dance or perform on stage, regardless of whether you use legs, wheels, or your voice. Her hope is to find a way for more inclusion in the arts.

Every year, Diamond Girl, Autumn, participates in The Buddy Walk and raises hundreds of dollars for Down Syndrome!
She along with chapter President, Soléil, celebrated World Down Syndrome Day by wearing crazy socks!

How long have you been out of school?! Here, it’s been 20 school days missed- our quarantine started 27 days ago. Many places in the nation have started putting bears in windows so young children can go on a “bear hunt” while walking with their family! Chapter President, Soléil, didn’t have a bear but Skye, her dino, is on the job!

Diamond Girl, Kailey, knows that isolation is harder on some people than others so she made and sent cards to her local nursing home to remind residents that they are loved and not alone during this time!
