Yes, it's Scouting but it is also Sports! Yes, its Scouting but it is also Canoeing! Yes, it's Scouting but it is also Survival Skills. Yes, it's Scouting but it is Leadership. Yes, it is Scouting, but it is Family. Yes, it is Scouting, but it also Rock Climbing. Yes, it is Scouting but it is also Life Saving. Yes, it is Scouting but it is also Friends, New & Old.

This post is a late one. The Troop had a great time at Lost Pines Scout Reservation in Bastrop this past summer. They were able to attend due to the support of the great community that we live in and because of the American Legion Post 443 Somerset TX. Thank you all for always supporting our Fundraisers. You are helping us create Leaders in the community and the world. You are helping them be prepared to save a life and to be there for others. Thank you Robert Garza for being our biggest supporter. Thank you Enrique Curi Jr., Lucero De Leon, Mark De Leon, Gamez for being there to support these scouts journey with all your volunteer time and dedication throughout the entire year, year after year. Blessings to all that made these smiles, memories, and skills possible!

Scouting is so much more than “camping”! It’s family, friendships, life skills, problem solving, awareness, learning, compassion and more! This was our 2026 Akela camp for 4th & 5th grade CubScouts at Bear Creek Camp.

Super honored to have been invited to help Gunslingerz: An Old-Fashioned Barber Parlour with their Memorial Day event that brought the true meaning back to our small town. Thank you Dahlgreen - Food Truck Park for having the event at your location. Thank you to our scout families who participated in either the event or placing flags for our departed soldiers. This was one for the books. Looking forward to next year. Remember to check out Ormy cares .

Our small Cub Scout pack needs you! If you have any old tools that you would like to donate to help the scouts cut pinewood derby cars, and build projects, we would be so grateful!
