Keeta’s Place Inc. is excited to announce Dr. Krendra Harralson as a featured guest speaker for the 3rd Annual She Who Inspires Me Tea.
This year, our speakers will share heartfelt reflections about the women who have inspired them to become the people they are today and Dr. Harralson’s story is one rooted in resilience, service, leadership, advocacy, and purpose.
Dr. Krendra Harralson is a retired United States Army veteran who enlisted at just 17 years old as a combat medic and went on to serve a distinguished 21-year military career. During her service, she worked in air and ground ambulance operations, healthcare leadership, medical instruction, and victim advocacy.
Through her dedication and leadership, Dr. Harralson earned a battlefield promotion to Staff Sergeant and later rose to the rank of Sergeant First Class. She received numerous awards and commendations, including two Meritorious Service Medals, four Army Commendation Medals, four Army Achievement Medals, campaign medals for service in Iraq and Afghanistan, and induction into the prestigious Sergeant Audie Murphy Club.
After retiring from the Army, Dr. Harralson continued her commitment to service through healthcare leadership, education, public office, and mentorship. She currently serves as a city council member and is passionate about advocating for veterans, women, and underserved communities.
She is also an accomplished pageant titleholder, published co-author, proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, the National Society of Leadership and Success, and the NAACP. Above all, she is a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who believes true leadership begins with service to others.
