Meet ✨Loki✨ (Adoptable):

This sweet boy has been nothing but friendly, and doesn’t know a stranger! He is very easy-going, and spends most of his day relaxing. And of course, munching all day long. But when it’s time to hop around, he does the fastest zoomies + lots of binkies!! He is a younger boy, around 6-10 months old. His mischievous side is still coming in. He is named Loki, after all! 💚🐇🌟

He was rescued on a very hot summer-day with a heat advisory (over 100 degrees), after a cyclist found him on their route (on the Southside of SA). We assume he was dumped, like so many other buns. He jumped onto the pavement, as a last resort to get himself rescued. We’re super grateful for the cyclist & their family, who made sure to get Loki to us safely & keep him cool, after the extreme heat.

He will be at our Petsmart Adoption Event, on Sunday September 20th (12-3pm), ready to meet folks!

🚨FOSTER NEEDED!!🚨

Ozzy, the Prince of Darkness- NEEDS a FOSTER. 🦇🖤

He is our newest rescue-intake, rescued from a neighborhood in the Southside near Downtown. He had been wondering the neighborhood, and hiding under a house for a few days. With stray dogs, neighbors with large dogs, and the extreme heat-we needed to rescue this bun ASAP. Our trapping team gathered together today, and made two visits to the property. We were able to capture him this evening around sunset! We had to crawl under the house, and lure him out. Thankfully, Ozzy cooperated!

The house he was hiding under was about to start foundation-work tomorrow, (as you can tell by the dug-up dirt), which would’ve been very dangerous for Ozzy. We are so glad we got him, just in time! However, he still NEEDS a foster to continue his journey of recovery & rescue. We are full and desperately need fosters. Please help!! ✨Updated Dumpling Physique (Adoptable)✨🥟

Our FAVORITE chonk, is looking for his forever home! 🏡❤️

This sweet boy Dumpy, has been losing weight steadily and following his healthy diet very well. When we first took Dumpling in, he was extremely obese (he is still obese now, but he was even heavier). And he was used to 6 years of eating from an unlimited pellet bowl, which isn’t ideal. Due to his extra weight and age, he had developed arthritis-which is why he is now a special needs bun who required daily inflammation/pain management. Despite his diagnosis, Dumpling enjoys binkying like a young bun + zooming for food. He LOVES humans & will accept head-pets all day long. He has developed a new found love for hay, which we are so grateful for!! With his healthier diet (full of hay), his poops look a lot better now-and we’re seeing increased definition in his body, less fat deposits around his body, and increased energy levels. He’s on a long journey for his weight loss, but he’s been an absolute sweetheart! He is a special-needs senior bun, who is looking for his forever home! ❤️

🚨FOSTER NEEDED🚨

Loki, our newest rescue-intake NEEDS a foster. Please HELP so we are not full, and can rescue more rabbits in need. If you’re interested in fostering or learning more about becoming a foster-please reach out. Fostering SAVES LIVES! ‼️

He was found outside yesterday, meanwhile someone was on a bike ride on the Southside. He hopped in front of the cyclist, as a last effort to be rescued.. he’s a brave boy. He was most likely dumped outside. We immediately tried to get him as soon as we could, with the heat + unsafe area he was in. He arrived with filthy feet and front paws (literally the color black). No pictures taken, since we wanted to get him cleaned up as soon as possible.

He is SAFE now, resting and munching on pellets and hay. He is a young rabbit, but very friendly. Already accepting head-rubs. Please consider fostering, to save a life + open room for another emergency intake! ❤️

(Adoptable, Bonded Pair) ❤️🪎

Ruby & Max are the most entertaining pair of buns, that we get the pleasure of caring for. They are a dynamic duo who share the same brain-cell! And they may be down to one brain cell left. 😂

Most of their day is spent relaxing, and enjoying each other’s company. They can often be found flopped or splooted next to each-other. Ruby is a sweet and patient girl, who is very chill and loves to nap! She can be shy at first, but Max helps her feel brave. She constantly seeks him out. She loves gentle head-pets, attention, and snacks! And when she’s not lounging, she is probably cuddling/grooming her bun-husband Max. They mirror each other often, and it’s such an adorable sight to see!
Max is an energetic boy who is very food motivated & curious. He enjoys head-rubs, and lounging with Ruby. He brings the spice to this relationship for sure. Never a dull moment with Max.

Although the buns had a harsh start to life (after being dumped outside), they didn’t let that stop them from trusting humans. They have opened their hearts to humans again, and have given their foster-humans so much love. Ruby & Max are a dynamic duo, who are very patient and easy-going-they just want to be loved (and FED)! 🥬

✨Meet Bambi✨(Adoptable) 🦌🌸🌳
Bambi is a very sweet girl, who is inquisitive & enjoys connecting with her humans. It may take Bambi a second to get comfortable, but once she does-her heart is yours!

Her journey has included an amazing transformation. She was rescued after being injured outdoors, and taken in by Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation, Inc. -then transferred to our rescue. Most likely abandoned outside, as so many other rabbits are. She started her journey with us, and she was very guarded and spicy” as most folks say, and unsure of humans. Her lack of socialization wasn’t her fault, and she had no reason to trust humans-from what had happened to her before. But as time went on, she learned to trust & love the people around her. She went from an aggressive rabbit, to one who craves love & head-pets. She even shares kisses with her foster, which is absolutely darling! Her foster Kaelen has done an amazing job socializing this sweet girl, and showing her that humans aren’t all bad! She now knows what a family is. Bambi knows she is so so loved. ❤️
Bambi also suffered a complicated eye-ulceration earlier this year that had a lengthy-healing process. And through it all, she was a fighter. Her eye has healed fully since the ulcer, with no scars. During that whole grueling healing process, she made sure to give her foster lots of kisses after her daily routine of eye-cleanings + meds. She knows that she’s safe and loved, and she makes sure to reciprocate it!! And that shows the kind of sweet-girl that she is. Please help her find her forever home! 🤎

Huge success at our Petsmart Adoption event yesterday! Mochi is pending adoption until September, after yesterday’s event. Bambi & Liberty are still looking for their forever homes, but we know it’ll be well worth the wait! They are such sweet girls. 🩵
