Our dear friend Pete Scobell. Pete is famous for his decorated 17-year career as a U.S. Navy SEAL—including leading the team that rescued Captain Richard Phillips from Somali pirates—and his subsequent career as a country-Americana singer-songwriter and veterans’ advocate.

Pete served six combat deployments across elite units, including SEAL Team 8, a Special Delivery Vehicle (SDV) team, and DevGroup (SEAL Team 6).
Commanded the tactical team that executed the high-profile 2009 rescue of Captain Richard Phillips.
Earned two Bronze Stars with Valor and multiple combat action awards before a combat-related traumatic brain injury forced his retirement.

He transitioned to country music after utilizing music therapy during his medical recovery, releasing his debut album Walkin a Wire. Collaborated with country star Wynonna Judd on notable tracks, including “Hearts I Leave Behind” (tributing Navy SEAL Chris Kyle) and “For The Ones I Stand Beside”. Pete has expanded into consulting, public speaking on traumatic brain injuries/PTSD, and acting/stunt consulting work in film.
