This was the day Luke came home from the hospital before the horrible pain set in. He was SO glad to be home. I’m glad he got to come home one last time before he left for Heaven. 💙😇💙

Another $3,600+ worth of toys, crafts, pajamas, toiletries, etc. were delivered to Cook Children’s Hospital in memory of our sweet Luke. Thank you to everyone who donates and those who participated in our 5K this year to raise the money so we can keep sharing Luke’s Light! 💙🩵🎗️

Every October, while children across America dress as superheroes, ghosts, and princesses, thousands of pediatric cancer patients spend Halloween in hospital rooms instead of neighborhoods lined with pumpkins and laughter. For them, the wish to join in the fun—to feel normal, to trick-or-treat with friends—is often replaced by IV poles, chemotherapy, and isolation protocols. Each year, about 15,000 children in the United States are diagnosed with cancer, making it the leading cause of death by disease among children. Many treatments last months or even years, robbing them of milestones most kids take for granted. Yet, despite their battles, these young warriors still dream of costumes, candy, and carefree nights—reminders that childhood joy should never be lost to cancer
