Andrew Paterson (Bench Brigade/LaGrangeville NY) delivered Kevin Buras' bench to him today in Carthage NY. Andrew said Kevin and Gary hit it off immediately because Gary is a Vietnam era "Airborne" veteran. Kevin gave Gary the Airborne hat he's wearing and an Airborne challenge coin. Kevin told Andrew that he wants his dad to meet
Gary.

If you look closely at that map they're studying so intently, you
immediately notice it's been around for a while and someone wrote HUE' in magic marker. The Vietnamese city of Hue' sits on the Perfume River. I'm pretty sure that was just inside South Vietnam at that time. Gary was there
for the 1968 Tet Offensive. That was some of the heaviest fighting during the Vietnam War.
