From our Live Like JayG3 Scholarship to you all, hug those you love and make many memories. Today I’ll represent for my brother who isn’t here and show Mom O great love for him.
Thank you to Grace Solevilla-Moreno, our Director of Outreach and Communication, for her wonderful art work on our shoes, she has many talents. We will wear them proudly.

Season 5 of our Live Like JayG3 Scholarship is officially complete. From September 2025 to May 2026, you showed up, gave, shared, and believed in us. That kind of support doesn’t go unnoticed, it changes lives. Thank you for spreading the word, following our journey, and standing behind our mission. We’re proud of this season…and we hope we’re making Jay proud too.

Join me in congratulating one of our Live Like JayG3 Scholarship recipients for season 5, Samantha Calderon!

She has made her way from traveling to the Dominican Republic to North Carolina and continues to be a role model through STEM programs. Samantha states, “I’m honored to be part of a community that empowers and inspires the next generation.” We are proud to highlight her job as the Lead Special Activities Instructor at North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.

Until she finds her next adventure, Samantha spends her time leading indoor and outdoor programming and preparing for the summer!

She has made her way from traveling to New York back to San Antonio to continue pursuing her goals in Forensic Science. We are proud to highlight her Chemistry summer research with Welch Summer Program at St. Marys University by way of Atlanta.

Join me in congratulating one of our Live Like JayG3 Scholarship recipients for season 5, Sukhari Afflick!

She has made her way from Miami to Puerto Rico and now excitedly awaiting her departure to Mexico. Sukhari will be exploring the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef and an authentic fishing village to study about conservation and the locals. We’re proud to partner with SeaSmart each summer to help raise awareness about the importance of our ever-changing oceans.

Until she leaves again, Sukhari spends her time studying Chemistry and Biology and prepping for her departure for the summer!

Join me in congratulating one of our Live Like JayG3 Scholarship recipients for season 5, Summer Hargrave!

She has made her way from Dartmouth College, here, there and everywhere, onto Ecuador and will be making her way to the West Coast’s backcountry to lead trips for Overland Summers. To prepare for the role, Summer is pursuing a Wilderness First Responder certification with Wicked Good Wilderness Medicine in Maine, which her scholarship will help partially fund! Her goal is to gain access to higher elevation expeditions and more technical mountaineering.

Until she leaves again, she spends her time hiking, exploring and prepping for her departure for the summer!

Join me in congratulating one of our Live Like JayG3 Scholarship recipients for season 5, Julia Gonzales!

She has made her way from University of Colorado Springs to San Antonio and will be making her way to the Mountains of Southern California at Pali Adventures! Her goal is to continue working on her Child Development Psychology degree as a Child Life Specialist.

Until she leaves for the summer, she spends her time shaping young minds as a substitute teacher for the East Central School District and prepping for her departure for the summer!
