Our Next Pet Food Distribution is Coming Up! 🐶🐱

DaisyCares is preparing for our next pet food distribution, providing dog and cat food to local families to help keep pets healthy, happy, and at home. 🌼

🐱 Good news for cat families! Cat food will be available at this distribution. We know this has been a much-needed resource, and we’re happy to finally be able to offer it again.

🗓️ Tuesday, October 13, 2026
⏰ 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
📍 San Antonio Food Bank Pavilion

Registration: The FreshTrak registration link typically goes live 3–7 days before the distribution. There is no exact time for when registration will open, so families needing assistance should begin checking FreshTrak during this timeframe. Appointments fill up very quickly, often within minutes.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: When registering, make sure you select the pantry listed as DaisyCares Pet Food Pantry.

We will not be posting the registration link. To register, visit FreshTrak, enter your ZIP code, expand your search radius to 50 miles, and select DaisyCares Pet Food Pantry when registration opens.

But we’re not there yet. Giving is still open through Sunday, September 27, and we urgently need your help. We’re currently at just 40% of our $30,000 goal, and reaching this goal is essential to helping us continue providing emergency veterinary grants and pet food to families in our community.

The need is great, and DaisyCares is here to fill a critical gap for both pets and the people who love them. Your donations directly support this mission, and we need your help to keep this work going.

We still need your help to reach our Big Give goal.🌼‼️

At DaisyCares, we see the need every single day. Families who love their pets and are doing everything they can to keep them fed, healthy, and safely at home.

Last year, DaisyCares distributed 1.5 million pounds of pet food, providing food for 77,000 pets and more than 22,000 families in need.

That number sounds staggering. But even 1.5 million pounds of pet food was not enough to meet all of the requests we received.

The need is that great.

That is why we are asking you to help us GO BIG this year.

Our Big Give goal is $30,000, and that $30,000 can provide 300,000 pounds of pet food, helping feed 15,000 pets belonging to approximately 4,200 families.

That is a HUGE impact.

And for the next 24 hours, your support can go even further.

Because keeping pets in the homes where they are loved and out of shelters and off the streets is what is best for pets, families, and our community.

DaisyCares serves a unique and growing need right here in our community. We are asking you to stand with the families and pets who love each other and help us keep them together.
