On Memorial Day, Great Hearts Texas remembers the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Many of our scholars know these words from In Flanders Fields, a poem that gives language to sacrifice and duty. Today, we pause with gratitude for those who did not return home, and for the liberty their service helped preserve.

We were able to honor this picnic because we met our November Community Investment (CI) goal with monthly recurring donors. Thank you donors for supporting GHLO and helping to make this a special day for our students.

On Saturday, our Legacy 5th Grade class hosted a family dance, and it was absolutely OWLMAZING! Students and parents shared an unforgettable evening filled with laughter, dancing, games, celebration, and cherished memories as they reflected on their journey and legacy together.

A huge congratulations to our Owls — the very first class to complete GHLO Lower School from Kindergarten through 5th grade! We are so proud of all you have accomplished and the legacy you continue to build. Great job, Owls!
