We are so excited about this opportunity at SAPAC during the summer. We encourage all young and aspiring filmmakers to consider attending this week long camp on filmmaking.
We can’t wait to see what these teens produce.
We have something exciting to announce!
Our former Box Office Manager, Caesar Martinez, is offering a week-long, intensive filmmaking workshop called FRAME for students aged 11-18 from July 13-17 at the Stephens PAC on 82 Gillis Street. The workshop will go from 9AM-4PM each day. Tuition is $75. Register here: https://forms.gle/588PUta2t7QwS2Yg7
Overview
FRAME is a week-long, hands-on filmmaking intensive for middle and high school students designed to take participants through the complete process of creating original short films—
from concept to final screening.
Students will work in small production teams and collaborate across all major filmmaking roles including writing, directing, acting, cinematography, sound, and editing. Rather than
learning film theory in isolation, students actively produce real short films in a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment.
The week concludes with a public screening at the San Angelo Performing Arts Center where students premiere their finished work for family, friends, and the community.
