💚🎯 What a great weekend for our Tom Green 4-H Sh***un Club family! 🎯❤️
It’s always special watching our young shooters step out, compete, make memories, and represent our club with pride.
🍀Luke Dixon competed in the Lonnie Kellermier Shoot at San Angelo Sporting Clay Association and shot an awesome 79/100! Way to go, Luke! 👏
🍀Cruz and Sutton traveled to the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo Junior Sporting Clay Competition, where both boys advanced to the championship round.
🎯 Sutton: 97/100 first round | 94/100 championship
🎯 Cruz: 86/100 first round | 96/100 championship
🍀Sutton placed in Lewis Class, while🍀 Cruz finished 5th. Both boys came home with some prize money—and plenty of memories! 🏆💰
💚We couldn’t be more proud of these young men. It’s not just about the scores or the awards; it’s about the friendships being made, the lessons being learned, the confidence being built, and watching these kids grow together.

🎯 H.O.T. Trap Extravaganza! 🎯
🍀The Tom Green 4-H Sh***un Club had three members at the H.O.T. Trap Extravaganza, and these boys gave it their all!
👏 Sutton — 5th out of 57 Group 2 Males with a 284/300
👏 Cruz — 7th out of 57 Group 2 Males with a 282/300, and made it to a shoot-off, missing it by just one bird!
👏 Wayland — 9th out of 21 Group 1 Males with a 212/300, shooting through an injured hand and never giving up!
🍀We are so proud of these boys! We can’t wait to see what this season brings! 🍀🎯

💚The West Texas NRA Banquet was a great success last night.💚🍀 Sutton, Club President, Taylor, Club Vice President, Cruz, Club Secretary, and Wesley,Club Treasurer, helped with set-up, lead pledges, helped with live auction, raffle tickets, and the clean-up. We couldn't be more proud of our club officers and organizations like the NRA that support Youth Shooting Sports. 💚🍀We are forever grateful the donation we received from the NRA this past spring. 💚🍀

Concho Valley Friends of the NRA is a wonderful organization and a valued supporter of our Tom Green County 4-H Shooting Sports programs, including the TG 4-H Sh***un Club and TGC R***e Club. We truly appreciate all they do to support our 4-H youth, not only here in Tom Green County but throughout our community and beyond. Their continued generosity helps provide opportunities for our young shooters to learn, grow, and succeed.
