As I reflect on the past two years, serving as the NAWIC Salt Lake President I am filled with gratitude. It has been an incredible honor to serve our chapter, and I sincerely thank each of you for your support and for trusting me with the opportunity to lead.

I hope I have made a positive impact on your lives and on the experiences of our members.

In return, you all have enriched my life in more ways than I can adequately express. That spirit of connection and sisterhood is truly one of our greatest strengths.

As we move forward, I hope our chapter continues to empower others by:

1. Enriching lives and creating a lasting positive impact

2. Empowering ourselves and those around us

3. Engaging attend events, get involved with a committee support our organization

4. Educating ourselves through continuous learning, growth, and the pursuit of knowledge

5. Elevating keep promoting our mission, strengthening our presence, and increasing the visibility and opportunities for women in our industry.

I am looking forward to our incoming leadership team and all they will bring to the year ahead. I have no doubt that Becky, Carlyn, Patty, Tiffany, Alycia, Amanda, Puja, and Sarah will lead with passion, dedication, and creativity as they continue to move our chapter forward. I am excited to remain involved as Immediate Past President, I am equally excited to step back, support from the sidelines, and watch these incredible women shine in their leadership roles.

This weekend, I had the honor of celebrating Linda Kofford and presenting her with her 45-year NAWIC membership pin.
This recognition was especially meaningful to me because Linda has been such an important part of my own NAWIC journey. She is not only a respected leader, but also a dear friend and mentor whose guidance and support have meant so much over the years.
Few people have shaped our chapter the way Linda has. She has served twice as Chapter President, twice as Regional Director, and has faithfully served as our Parliamentarian for more than a decade. In fact, we lovingly refer to her as the NAWIC Police because of her commitment to keeping us on track. Through her leadership, encouragement, and example, she has mentored generations of women in construction, leaving a lasting mark on our chapter and our industry.
Beyond NAWIC, Linda's impact has been felt throughout Utah through her work as a business owner and her involvement in numerous industry and community organizations. Most importantly, she has generously shared her wisdom, kindness, and friendship with so many along the way. Linda, thank you for the legacy you have built, the countless lives you have touched, and the difference you continue to make every day. We are better because of you, and we are so grateful to call you our friend. We love you! 🫶

NAWIC Salt Lake City Chapter #90 is excited to announce the return of the NEF Design Drafting Competition in Utah! This is a fantastic opportunity for high school students to showcase their drafting and design skills, gain industry recognition, and connect with construction professionals.
