Polynesian Arts Founded in 1992. Authentic Polynesian cultural performances. We pride ourselves in healthy competition. Welcome to our family!

Polynesian Arts Incorporated was founded by our beloved parents Soonafaifualouola Tiatia and the late Tiatia Salatielu Vaiaoga Tiatia in 1992. Their vision has transcended into what has become our way of sharing our rich culture with diverse people who have a desire to learn, entertain and perform regardless of ethnic origin. The values we instill through our performing arts have created an uplift of self-worth for those who participate. We teach cooperation, without it, music has no sound and dance has no rhythm. Most of all, we demand respect for self, others and especially our elders. We feel there is a great need for revitalization in this area of today's society. We make no claims of being the answer for these societal challenges, but we do feel it is a step towards the right direction. Polynesian Arts of Salt Lake City, Utah is an organization operating under New Beginnings Academy headquartered in Saint George, Utah, a non-profit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Polynesian Arts (Salt Lake City-Utah), Taimanuta Legacy (Las Vegas-Nevada) and New Beginnings Academy (Saint George-Utah) provides a partnership with primary focus on growth opportunities for our youth through their due diligence to learn cultural arts, music and dance. There are moments when a journey begins long before the first step is taken.

We answered a calling that had been waiting for years. And on that first evening, you answered with us- to become faithful stewards of the cultures entrusted to us.

To those who placed your trust in our family, thank you. To those returning, welcome home. To those beginning for the first time, your story is now part of ours.

Polynesian Arts is back and we’re moving fast. Our first practice is TOMORROW! 🔥

🕟 Meet & Greet: 4:30- 5:00 PM
💃 Practice: 5:00- 7:00 PM

📅 Saturday Practice, 8/8/26:
9:00- 10:00 AM

Our season runs August- November, and we cannot wait to get back on the floor with our dancers, drummers, musicians, and storytellers- carrying on the legacy our Tiatia family started decades ago. 🌴

For over 30 years, our family has carried the fire of authentic Polynesian dance, music, and storytelling throughout Utah. In 2026, we’re honored to bring that legacy home once again.

🌺 Polynesian Arts Registration is NOW OPEN. 🌺

✨ Learn dance, drumming, song, and storytelling from Samoa, Tahiti, Tonga, Fiji, Aotearoa, and Hawaiʻi

✨ Taught by a family with over a century of combined Polynesian dance experience

✨ Summer Schedule: Mondays • 5:00–7:00 PM | Saturdays • 9:00–10:00 AM

✨ Location: Union Square • Sandy, Utah

The response has already been incredible, from so many families who’ve been waiting for this revival. Because of that, we expect spots to fill quickly.

📅 Registration closes in 2 weeks (or sooner if capacity is reached).
