MISSION

BAPA’s primary purpose is to provide networking opportunities for fellow Bosnian-Americans and foster continued professional growth in our community. We are planning to accomplish these goals through community outreach, mentoring programs, and a scholarship fund, while strengthening connections to our homeland. VISION

As a Junior Director of Bosnian American Medical Professionals (BAMP), he is passionate about advancing healthcare access and education within the Bosnian-American community.

🎉 Meet BAPA Scholarship Recipient Layla! 🎓

Layla is an incoming Finance student in the ACE Honors Program at the Kelley School of Business, where she plans to focus on wealth management and creating positive social impact through business. A DECA international qualifier, dedicated Kiwanis member, and accomplished violinist, Layla is passionate about leadership, service, and making a difference in her community.

🎉 Meet Hana, one of our 2026 BAPA Scholarship recipients! 🎓

Hana is a fourth-year PhD candidate in Biomedical Engineering at Boston University, where she studies tissue communication during injury and aging. Her research has been presented at national conferences, and she is passionate about advancing innovative therapies while mentoring future STEM leaders through her outreach work.

🎓 Meet a 2026 BAPA Scholarship Recipient, Iman Agić!

Originally from Sarajevo, Iman is a Computer Science and Theatre & Dance student at Lewis & Clark College, with a focus on Cybersecurity and Data Analytics. A former Shelby Davis Scholar from UWC Mostar, she has conducted technology and product research across more than 10 countries, combining a global perspective with a passion for innovation.

Meet Armin, one of our 2026 BAPA Scholarship recipients! 🎓

A rising senior at Lake Forest College majoring in Finance and Data Science, Armin has excelled both academically and professionally through roles in research, tutoring, private wealth management, and most recently as a Risk Intern at CME Group in Chicago. Originally from Bosnia, he remains actively involved in the Bosnian community and aspires to make a lasting impact in global finance.
