Hello again Buffs! It’s hard to believe that another summer is coming to an end and that fall feeling is beginning to creep in, but if you’re like us, we are ready to welcome cooler temps and of course the return of our Buffs to the gridiron!

Already looking ahead to game 2, the Buffs took the field this past weekend to a full house at Folsom and pulled off a scrappy win against Northern Colorado. With the return of the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year, Jarek Broussard, rushing for a TD and almost 100 yards, the rushing game was quite impressive. The passing game, led by freshman Brandon Lewis, will need to step up dramatically against one of the top teams in the country on Saturday.

The Buffs will face off against #6 Texas A&M on Saturday at 1:30pm MST in Denver. Tune into your local FOX station to catch the game.

We will be in Denver cheering on the Buffs to a hopeful win in the flesh, so we will not be having a watch party this week.

While things remain ever-evolving, we do plan to hold a handful of watch parties this season. We would love to reconnect with our fellow local SLC/PC Buffs, so be sure to check your email and social media for updates! GO BUFFS!!

After knocking out the first win of the season, the Buffs look to Stanford on Saturday.

Upon further review, Colorado coach Karl Dorrell still liked what he saw from his Buffaloes in their 48-42 season-opening win over UCLA on Saturday at Folsom Field.
