🐾❤️ FANTASTIC FOSTER FRIDAY! ❤️🐾

Today we’re celebrating another one of our incredible Tail Wags fosters, SAMANTHA and her amazing family! 🌟🐶

Some of the most special people in rescue are the ones who don’t hesitate to open their hearts and homes, even when life is already busy. And Samantha is absolutely one of those people! 🥹❤️

Samantha has been such a wonderful part of our Tail Wags family. She’s always so kind, patient, understanding, and willing to help wherever she can. Whether it’s taking in a foster dog or stepping up for a temporary foster when we’re in a desperate situation, Samantha has been someone we can count on! 🏡🐾

And we can’t forget her amazing kiddos! ❤️ They’re right there helping Mom, showing these rescue dogs love and kindness, and learning firsthand just how much of a difference their family can make in a dog’s life.

Right now, Samantha has a very special foster boy named MAX. 🥺💙

Max is one of those dogs who hasn’t had an easy time learning that the world is a safe place. He’s incredibly scared, and things that seem so simple to other dogs can be overwhelming for him.

But Samantha doesn’t expect Max to change overnight.

She meets him where he is. ❤️

She gives him space when he needs it, reassurance when he’s scared, and the patience to slowly learn that he is safe and loved.

And even with a busy household, kids, and everything else life throws her way, she still makes time for Max. She understands that progress isn’t always measured in huge milestones. Sometimes it’s the smallest moments of trust that mean the absolute most. 🥹🐾

THAT is what makes an incredible foster.

It’s not always easy. It’s not always convenient. And sometimes the dogs who need us most are the ones who require the most patience.

But Samantha continues to show up for them. ❤️

Samantha, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts! Thank you for opening your home, for stepping up when we’re in a bind, for raising such compassionate little helpers, and especially for giving sweet Max the time, love, and understanding he so desperately needs.

🐾💕 SWEET PEPPER NEEDS A PLACE TO CALL HOME! 💕🐾

💔 She lost her family… through absolutely no fault of her own. 🥺

Meet Pepper, a beautiful 5-year-old English Bulldog with the sweetest little face and an even sweeter heart! ❤️

Pepper was surrendered to a New Mexico shelter, and while we don’t know why her family couldn’t keep her, we do know one thing…

She didn’t deserve to lose the only home she knew. 💔

Despite everything, Pepper remains such a kind, gentle, loving girl who just wants to be loved right back. 🥹

🐾💙 MEET MOOSE! 💙🐾

How is this handsome goofball still available?! Moose is a 1-year-old Rottweiler/Pyrenees mix who is sweet, gentle, goofy, and one seriously lovable guy. 🥹❤️

He can be a little shy when first meeting someone, but warms up quickly and turns into the sweetest, most affectionate boy. And Moose has one very important rule in life: if it’s soft, it’s a bed. Couch? Bed. Dog bed? Obviously. Fresh pile of laundry? Premium bed. 😂🛋️🧺

These puppies are currently on the reservation and haven’t had the opportunity to experience much of the world outside of what they’ve known. They’re undersocialized, scared, and unsure of people and new surroundings.

But underneath that fear are just puppies who deserve to know what love feels like. ❤️‍🩹

🏡 What these babies need:
🐾 Patient fosters willing to give them time to decompress
💕 A safe, quiet place to learn that people can be trusted
🐶 Love, consistency, and gentle encouragement
❤️ Someone willing to show them what being part of a family is all about

They don’t need perfect homes or experienced trainers. They just need someone with patience, compassion, and a little extra love to give. 🥹

We provide food, supplies, and veterinary care. You provide the safe place where their new lives can begin!

🦘💙 BABY ROO IS READY TO HOP INTO HIS FOREVER HOME! 💙🦘

Meet Roo, an adorable 7-month-old Chihuahua/Terrier mix who is basically a little cuddle bug trying to figure out this great big world. 🥹🐾

Once Roo feels comfortable, he is an absolute LOVE. He wants to snuggle, play and be right there with his people—and he LOVES his foster dog siblings and kids! ❤️

✨ The Roo Rundown: ✨

💕 SUPER cuddly
🐶 Absolutely LOVES other dogs
👧 Loves his foster kids
🏡 Mostly potty trained—he does best with regular potty breaks or access to a doggy door
😴 Crate trained when he has a doggy buddy nearby
🥺 Not a fan of being alone
🧸 Loves stuffies & rope toys
🦮 Currently learning how this whole “leash walking” thing works 😂
🦴 VERY treat motivated…which definitely helps with training!
🐱 Has NOT been tested with cats

Roo is still a little unsure when it comes to new things. He’s just a tiny guy in a VERY big world, and sometimes he needs a minute to decide if something is safe. 🥹

And a harness?

Roo has currently filed that under: “Absolutely suspicious. Further investigation required.” 😂

But he’s learning!

Roo would absolutely LOVE a home with another friendly dog. Having a canine buddy helps him feel more confident and secure—and gives him someone to play with and keep him company. 🐶💙

He’s still a puppy, so his forever family will need to continue working on potty training, leash skills and confidence. But in return?

You get one ridiculously sweet, cuddly little guy who is going to LOVE being part of your family. 🥹

These sweet little faces could be on their way to safety THIS WEEKEND… but we need YOUR help to make it happen! 🥹💔

We’re putting together our next rescue transport from a high-kill shelter in New Mexico, arriving in Utah on October 17th, and we’d LOVE to add these adorable babies to the ride!

But here’s the catch… we can ONLY save them if we have foster homes lined up! 🏡❤️
