Afghan women are unstoppable. No matter what forces try to silence them, they will always shine brighter and stand more resilient than yesterday. Due to the current situation, we have opened home schools for women and girls. We are tirelessly working towards policies that will soon see these women back in public schools. We cannot stand by and watch them suffer and waste their potential. We must stand and support them until we change the law.

This is Halimullah, a 25-year-old from Borka, Baghlan. Once, he was known for his thriving orchard, bustling with life, and his cherished animals. But now, devastation reigns as his home lies in ruins, his once-lush orchard destroyed, and his beloved animals lost to the breathtaking disaster that swept through. Amidst the wreckage, there’s a beacon of happiness—his family, safe and sound, their lives spared by the mercy of fate. Yet, theirs is just one of the 5000 heartbreaking tales of homes washed away in the floods of Baghlan.

The vulnerable families in Baghlan are facing a dire situation. Floods have contaminated the rivers, leaving them without clean water to drink. They’ve lost everything, including basic cooking supplies, and are in desperate need of food and assistance.

Baghlan and its vulnerable residents are in desperate need of support and assistance.

In recent days, a catastrophic flood has struck the provinces of Baghlan, Ghor, and Takhar in Afghanistan, leading to an immense loss of life and property. Over 500 individuals have tragically lost their lives, and 4,000 families have been displaced. More than 2,000 homes have been destroyed, leaving many without shelter and basic necessities.

The flood’s aftermath has been devastating for the local communities, Our team is currently on the ground, actively providing aid and temporary shelter to those affected by this disaster. We are dedicated to supporting these displaced families by:

- Shelters: Establishing safe and secure temporary housing solutions to protect families from the elements.
- Providing Meals: Ensuring that each family has access to daily meals to sustain them during this crisis.

We are calling on the global community to join our efforts in aiding these families. Your support is crucial to our mission. Each dollar donated will provide a day of meals and shelter to a family in need. Your generosity can make a significant difference in the lives of those who have lost so much.

We all need to put our efforts to protect women's rights and make a change in this area together.
However, much more needs to be done to ensure that Afghan women can live free from violence and discrimination and have equal access to education, healthcare, and employment opportunities.
