Coming soon.....Sweet Jubilee Candy & More. Salley, SC. This is the first business that is opening to assist R.O.A.R by providing jobs for people in recovery from addictions. Businesses need to be in place and operating before the Recovery Center is built.
The businesses are being created as there are only a few small businesses located in Salley. They are also being created as a safe bubble from the outside world bringing their addictions into the workplace. This will give peopl, newly in recovery, a chance to grow without having to face temptation daily.
We want to make sure all orders arrive before announcing an opening date.

Some people in recovery have burnt all their bridges and have no one to help them get back on their feet. That's where R.O.A.R steps in to offer a hand up and a little hope to keep the one recovering to move forward and not give up.

God doesn't tell us to just go pray for people, he tells us to help others get on their feet.

Recovering Addicts/ alcoholics are like orphans because many of them have no family support system.

I may be in and out of the office for several months, but I will always have the office phone with me and will be available to help as I am able. I will most likely be in the vicinity of the office.

God did it!!! He brought the land developer to R.O.A.R. Here's the new development. We will be opening a small women's sober living home in walking distance to jobs that will be ready for the women that will be embarking on their new journey. We are anticipating the sober living home and one other business to open at the same time, less than 2 months. When the women reach the 6 month phase of sobriety, we will evaluate their progress in all areas of their life. If they have completed all of the work necessary to move on to the next phase. they will move in their own tiny home, 440sq ft. with a little more independence but still within a structured environment and a loving support system.

River Oaks now has an office located at 268 Poplar St. S.E. Salley, SC 29137. The phone number is 803-653-1261.

I will be in the office Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. researching ways to help those in need at this moment and placing them in recovery programs best suited for their current mental and physical needs.

Looking for a land developer/ builder for a tiny home community in aiken County, near wagener. 5-10 tiny homes, 400 sq ft each. We hope to break ground by the end of 2026. My apologies. Its been quiet for about a year for River Oaks. God has not sent anyone for River Oaks to help. He knew what i was about to struggle through. Mourned the loss of my parents, worked through some tough circumstances in my marriage and a few other family challenges arose. Life got heavy.
For the last couple of weeks, i felt an urge to awaken River Oaks non- profit. As of this date, River Oaks can help someone find an inpatient recovery center and is still available to transport people to recovery on Mondays or Tuesdays. Other than that, funds are low and still waiting on God to bring the vision together. This time, God has sent help! Hallelujah! Hopefully in the near future, I'll have a team together.

When you give your dreams and visions to God, he will order the steps to get their, if that's his will for you.
Taking a step of faith and a step forward and will be meeting with a group of people, in the near future, that are willing to help complete a vision of a couples inpatient recovery center and outpatient treatment for anyone. This center will include classes for family members to help educate them on how to love the addict/alcoholic. This vision is to restore families in a safe, loving environment.
When the brochure is complete for services that will be available, I'll share. This vision has been in my heart from the time I was in a recovery center myself in 2018. The vision changed a little, but looking back over the past few years, I can tell you for a fact that God has me on His path to fulfill this vision. Everywhere I've worked, served, volunteered, etc, since 2019 has been to build me up and train me for this vision.
You can be a part of this vision. River Oaks is a 501c3 and any donations are welcome. These donations will go towards bringing this vision into reality. I have nothing to hide and would share with each donor a transparent budget of how and when the money will be utilized during each phase of development.

I have not updated any information on here in awhile. Life has gotten busy. I'm asking for prayers today for the Lord to finally open a door that has been closed for a few years. I will post an update on what's been going on with R.O.A.R. in the next few days.
