July TCL was all about “Infrastructure and Development.” Great trips to The Ross, the landfill, including an eye opening trip all the way to the top - nearly 300 feet high - and then to see the City of Salisbury, Maryland main Water Treatment plant on Naylor Mill Road - where we saw some of the 5 million gallons of water that’s pumped through the city’s pipes every day!!

TCL in June was another good one. Visits to and by Wicomico Recreation & Parks and James Simmons, a trip to see the $28 million in facilities/clubhouse upgrades for Delmarva Shorebirds, a tour of Salisbury University and Sea Gull Stadium, and then, the chance to hear about leadership from SU Men’s Lacrosse Coach Jim Berkman, the winningest lacrosse coach in college history, and the man who has guided his program to 13 NCAA championships! Quite a day!!

TCL 2025 got off a to a great start on April 17th. Public Safety was the theme. Tours of the Wicomico County Courthouse, the Wicomico County Detention Center, and the newly opened Wicomico County Sheriff's Office were followed by an outstanding Leadership Panel: Salisbury Police Department Chief David Meienschein, Wicomico County State’s Attorney Jamie D***s, Wicomico County Sheriff Mike Lewis, and Wicomico County Circuit Court Judge Jimmy Sarbanes.

TCL immerses its participants in the places, people, and "things" that make our community work. From a visit to NASA's Wallops Flight Facility, to the rooftop of The Ross, from the Wicomico County Detention Center, to the City of Salisbury, Maryland Water Treatment Plant; from Salisbury University to.....

Be part of TCL. Join us in an interest meeting on March 13th at 4 pm at Greater Salisbury Committee. GSC and SU are the sponsors of TCL.

Every month, from April - October, learn about your community by visiting it, and then, learn from your community leaders in a one hour leadership forum. TCL will be held on the 3rd Thursday of each month, April - October, Noon - 4:30.

TCL is designed for a cohort of 25 or so individuals. You can be one of them. The cost of TCL is $650/participant. That includes all transportation and lunch each month - and so much more.
