This Monday, we’re proud to support Altrusa International of Salina through our Community Mondays!

Altrusa International of Salina was formed in 1944 and has been serving the Salina community and surrounding areas for over 80 years. Their main focus is literacy, with service projects including book distributions at community events, providing books to newborns at Salina Regional during World Literacy Month, The Period Project, Rebecca Morrison House Cookies, and winter hat and glove distributions.

Stop by Howard Wagyu on Monday, September 21st from 10 AM–7 PM, mention “Altrusa” at checkout, and 10% of your purchase will be given back to support their continued work in our community!

📢Project update!📢

Thanks to the incredible support of our community, The Period Project has been able to donate 22,931 tampons and 5,431 pads since its inception in August 2024!

Your generosity is helping make period products more accessible for those who need them most and we couldn't have done it without you!

Beginning tomorrow, July 6th, Flo Bags will be available at the Ellsworth County Health Department, 1603 Aylward Ave., Ellsworth, KS.

Altrusa International of Salina, Kansas is happy to continue expanding this project outside of Saline county!

📣 Period Poverty Awareness Week | May 11–17 📣

Period products are not a luxury — they are a basic necessity. Yet many individuals in our community continue to struggle to afford the supplies they need each month.

During Period Poverty Awareness Week, we invite you to support The Period Project through a monetary donation that helps us purchase and distribute period and hygiene products to local schools and community members in need.

💜 Every dollar donated makes an impact:
💰 $10 can help provide period supplies for someone in need
💰 $25 helps stock community distribution locations
💰 $50 helps us reach even more students and families facing period poverty

Your generosity helps ensure that no one has to miss school, work, or daily activities because they lack access to basic menstrual hygiene products.
