✨ A Reminder of Who We Are — Ashes to Wings ✨
Ashes to Wings was created from lived experience, community need, and the belief that survivors deserve more than survival — they deserve safety, dignity, and support that doesn’t come with conditions.
Ashes to Wings is a survivor-led organization rooted in advocacy, education, and community care. Our work centers survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, and complex trauma, while also supporting families navigating instability, systems, and rebuilding after crisis.
At our core, we believe:
Survivors should be believed
Support should be accessible and trauma-informed
Healing happens best in community
And no one should have to navigate this alone
While some programs are currently paused as we regroup and stabilize, the mission has never stopped. This season is about sustainability, reflection, and building a stronger foundation so we can continue this work responsibly and long-term.
Our long-term goals include:
Survivor-led advocacy and education
Emergency and transitional support for survivors and families
Community-based resources that reduce barriers
A future physical space for safety, healing, and empowerment
Systems change through lived-experience leadership
Ashes to Wings was started because I know firsthand what it feels like to fall through the cracks — to be told to “be strong” without being supported, to survive without being seen. This organization exists to do things differently. To meet people where they are. To rise together, even in quiet seasons.
If you’ve supported, shared, volunteered, donated, or simply followed along — thank you. Your presence matters more than you know.
We’re still here. We’re still committed. And we’re still building — one intentional step at a time.
Together, we rise. 💛🔥

🌱 Phoenix Rising Circle | A Soft Introduction 🌱
Over the last few months, Ashes to Wings has been in a season of pause and reflection. Some programs are currently paused as we regroup, stabilize, and prepare for what comes next.
The mission, however, has not changed.
Ashes to Wings exists to support survivors, advocate for safety and dignity, and build community-led pathways to healing. While we take this time to reset and rebuild sustainably, we’re opening a quiet, community-supported way for those who have asked how to help.
We’re introducing the Phoenix Rising Circle — a monthly community support option for those who believe in the mission and want to help keep it alive during this rebuilding phase.
There is no obligation, no pressure, and no perks required. This is simply a way to offer steady support if it feels right for you.
Phoenix Rising Circle tiers:
🕊️ $5/month — “I believe in the mission”
🔥 $10/month — “I help keep it alive”
🦅 $25/month — “I help rebuild”
All contributions go directly toward sustaining Ashes to Wings’ advocacy, education, and future survivor-led programming.
If you’d like to support, contributions can be sent via Venmo:
👉
(You’re welcome to note “Phoenix Rising Circle” in the description.)
If now isn’t the right time, that’s okay too. Sharing this post, offering encouragement, or simply being part of this community matters more than you know.
Thank you for walking with us — even in the quiet seasons.
Together, we rise. 💛

Notice of Temporary Pause
Ashes to Wings and the Phoenix Closet are temporarily paused due to personal circumstances that require my full attention at this time. This pause is necessary to ensure long-term stability and to allow for a thoughtful continuation of the work ahead.
This is a temporary pause, not a closure. The mission and vision of Ashes to Wings remain unchanged, and I will continue planning and preparing for future operations during this period.
I appreciate the understanding and support of our community, partners, donors, and volunteers. Your patience and trust are sincerely valued.
Thank you for your continued support. Stay tuned for future plans

🕯️ A Moment of Silence as We Enter 2026 🕯️
As 2025 comes to a close, we pause to honor the women, children, and men who lost their lives to domestic violence and human trafficking. Each life mattered. Each story mattered. They were more than statistics they were loved, valued, and deserving of safety.
As we move into 2026, we carry their memory with us. We continue the fight for survivors. We continue to raise our voices where silence has caused harm. We continue working toward a world rooted in safety, accountability, healing, and justice.
This moment of silence is also a moment of commitment to protect the vulnerable, to challenge systems that fail survivors, and to stand in solidarity with those still fighting to be heard.
Together, we rise. 🕊️🔥
