HopeTree CEO Jon Morris had the honor of serving as the keynote speaker at the Virginia Law Enforcement Accreditation Coalition's annual conference at the Highlander Hotel in Radford. His presentation, Transforming Culture Through Trust, brought this important conversation to more than 150 law enforcement officers and professionals from across the state.

Building a culture of trust starts with how we lead, communicate, and show up for one another. These principles strengthen teams and create environments where people can thrive. We're proud to see HopeTree's commitment to building stronger relationships reflected in conversations that reach beyond our own organization.

Some of the most important work happens between sessions.

Over the last two days at the 15th Annual Commonwealth of Virginia CSA Conference, the HopeTree team had the opportunity to connect with hundreds of professionals dedicated to supporting children, families, and communities across Virginia.

Whether sharing resources at our booth, discussing challenges facing local systems of care, or presenting on trauma-responsive leadership, we were reminded just how much can happen when people come together around a shared mission.

A special congratulations to Randi Paxton and Brandon Rose for leading a standing-room-only session on Connection Before Correction and the importance of building cultures grounded in relationships, resilience, and understanding.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to share your story, ask questions, and explore ways we can continue working together to serve Virginia's children and families.

The conversations don't have to end at the conference. If your CSA, agency, school division, or community organization is exploring trauma-responsive practices, we'd welcome the opportunity to connect and continue the conversation.

Congratulations to Allison Parker on her promotion to Family Centered Treatment (FCT) Trainer!

Over the past two years with HopeTree, Allison has demonstrated a strong commitment to serving families, supporting her team, and maintaining excellence in FCT practice. Her dedication, knowledge, and passion for helping others have made a positive impact on both clients and colleagues.

We are excited to see Allison take on this new leadership role and help train and mentor the next generation of FCT practitioners. We look forward to her continued growth and contributions to the HopeTree team.

This World Mental Health Day, we're encouraging our community to approach mental health with understanding, compassion, and an open mind.
