Before the boats ever leave the dock…

before the photos, the high fives, and the wins…

there are good people already hard at work. 🇺🇸🌊

Our Lake Tapps season opener in the Pacific Northwest was no different.

Volunteers showed up early, stayed late, hauled gear, prepped meals, drove boats, coached riders, worked safety, served plates, cleaned up, and made sure every detail supported the mission.

Many of our volunteers are veterans themselves.

Many come from military families.

Many are grateful civilians who believe injured veterans deserve more than a “thank you.”

They deserve people who show up and mean it.

That is what Wake for Warriors is built on.

And this is what healing looks like.

To our volunteers across the U.S. — thank you for creating the environment where healing happens.

We’ve got a comeback story for you...

This 1990 Sport Nautique was given a second life for a mission that helps veterans reclaim theirs! 🇺🇸🌊

Nautique Boats had the vision to turn this donated boat into something beautiful for a cause that matters.

Then an incredible crew stepped in to bring it back:
