Today felt extra special during lunch at the lodge. It's hard to describe in words what lunch means to those we serve and to us who serve. I hope the pictures provide insight into what a special time this is for everyone. We truly love and care about each other. We are there for each other. God has created a community, a very special community. Please keep us all in prayer. 🙏🏼 We thank God for all He does.

On the menu today was grilled bologna sandwiches with cheese. I'm not a bologna person, but this smelled so good. One of our friends walked down from the other end of town and he said he could smell it half way there.

God brought this meal together. The bologna was donated at Bushels of Blessings. The rolls were donated by Mission Teens Inc. Norma. The water was donated by a friend of the Lodge Ministries. Thank you everyone who provides for our friends. You are very special people. ♥️

Our newer ministry, Loads of Love, will be at the Laundromat on Walnut Street today (Thursday ) at 3:00 PM. If you know of anyone who is unhoused or in desperate need of doing laundry, please give them this info. We are able to do one load of laundry for each adult, and it can be any size. We are only able to help people who arrive before 4:00 PM. Thanks for sharing and blessings!

Thank you CrossPoint Wesleyan Church for making and serving lunch to our friends this week and Sharptown Church for making and serving lunch last week. ♥️ It's such a blessing to have churches come together to serve the Salem City community. 🫶🏼 There are mission fields here in Salem County, you don't have to leave the state or the country. ✈️ If you've never volunteered to help serve our friends, send us a message and we'd be happy to let you know the different ways you can help. You will not only be a blessing to others, but you will be blessed. Next week we are grilling at the lodge!!!

Thank you, Father, for a beautiful day at the lodge yesterday. Thank you, CrossPoint Wesleyan Church for making and serving lunch to our friends. It's such a joy and blessing to serve our friends together. Please continue to pray for our friends. 🙏🏼✝️♥️ Lunch is served every Saturday at the Salem Motor Lodge from 12:00 - 1:00.

Father, we thank you for another time of being blessed and being a blessing to others. Lord you provided 179 meals yesterday and we praise you for who you are and what you're doing. Yesterday we saw an influx of people who are homeless. It was a confirmation that what God has put into motion will soon come to fruition. Thank you, Jesus! 🙌🏼✝️🙏🏼♥️
