We are so thrilled and honored to receive a grant from the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut.

This support will allow us to bring our humane education programs to more children, something that feels especially meaningful at a time when so many animals in our state are suffering. We believe real change begins with education. When we raise a generation of young people who are informed, compassionate, and willing to be a voice for animals, we create a kinder future for everyone.

A huge thank you to Melissa Yuchniuk for turning her Birthday Celebration into a fundraiser for sweet serenity Center! The generosity of her family and friends is much appreciated. We raised over $1000.00 and had an amazing celebration. We were so touched when she approached us to celebrate her special day at our farm.

Everywhere at our events, you’ll see dragonflies and sunflowers — symbols of growth, transformation, and light.

The sunflower reminds us to stay grounded, face the sun, and keep growing. The dragonfly shows us what it means to rise, change perspective, and move through life with grace.

For Becky, sunflowers hold a special memory: after someone dear to her passed, a sunflower grew out of a rock the next day — a symbol of resilience and hope. Every event we do is a chance to grow, bring light, and honor that inspiration.

-Dedicated to my cousin Melanie, who told me I would do such great things for animals. Everyday I strive to make her proud.

Special thank you to all the people that braved the snow to spend some time with some wonderful puppies. All of the proceeds from ticket sales goes to these special kids medical expenses and give them a great start. Thank you Waterford/East Lyme animal control for saving these kids and helping give them the best start.
