🇺🇸🌺🇺🇸We would like to thank everyone for their support of our Poppy Drive last weekend. Thank you to all the volunteers who worked so hard to make this event a success - the ones who worked the donation stations, the ones who worked to make sure things were coordinated, in place and to those who worked ‘behind the scene’; without you, this could not happen. Most of all, we want to express our sincere gratitude to our community for your generosity and support; it is so gratifying to see how you step up every year. THANK YOU!🇺🇸🌺🇺🇸

🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸The American Legion, with the American Legion Auxiliary and SAL, will have a flag retirement ceremony on Flag Day, Sunday June 14. Flags that are no longer serviceable will be properly retired; this a good opportunity to teach your children about proper flag etiquette. Please join us at the AmericanLegion Post on Highway 32 West at 1pm; light refreshments will be provided after the ceremony. If you have a flag that is no longer in serviceable condition, please feel free to drop it off at the post in the next couple of weeks; there is a drop box on the east porch for your convenience. 🇺🇸🌺🇺🇸🌺The American Legion Auxiliary will be holding our annual Poppy Drive this Friday & Saturday, May 22 & 23. We will be collecting donations at Walmart, Country Mart, and the junction of HWYs 19/32. All funds will stay in our community and will be used to help local veterans and veteran families. We appreciate the generosity and support of our community.🇺🇸🌺🇺🇸🌺
