Sprague Little League Sprague Little League is a non-profit organization in Salem, OR. We offer a Spring and Fall Baseball Program for children ranging from 4 to 16 years of age.

Sprague Little League (SLL) is a nonprofit organization entirely run by volunteers and chartered by Little Leagueยฎ International. Dear Sprague Little League Families,

We regret to share that Sprague Little League will not be able to offer a Fall Ball program for the 2026 season.

Fall Ball is intended to provide our players with an additional opportunity for development and continued play during the offseason. We know this may be disappointing to families who were looking forward to participating, and we sincerely appreciate your interest and understanding.

Families wishing to continue playing this fall are welcome to explore Fall Ball opportunities that may be available through any of our neighboring leagues.

Our focus will now turn toward preparing for the 2027 Spring season, and we look forward to welcoming our players and families back to the field.

Today, our Sprague Intermediate All-Stars wrap up pool play in Nogales, Arizona, as they take on Alaska at 12:00 PM.

This week has been about so much more than baseball. These players and families have made memories and friendships that will last a lifetime while proudly representing Sprague Little League and Oregon.

From competing on the field to exploring Tombstone and making memories at the pool, this has been an unforgettable experience. We couldn't be prouder of the way these kids have competed, supported one another, and represented our community.

Sprague Little League is incredibly proud of every team that has the opportunity to represent our league in postseason tournament play. Advancing through District and State competition to reach the Little League Regional Tournament is an extraordinary accomplishment, and we are committed to supporting our players, families, and volunteers throughout that journey.

As postseason activities continue, we recognize there may be questions regarding team fundraising, league donations, and how charitable contributions are administered. We hope the following information provides helpful clarification.

As a chartered Little League organization and nonprofit corporation, Sprague Little League is responsible for administering all charitable donations and fundraising conducted on behalf of the league or its teams. This ensures compliance with Little League International policies, nonprofit governance requirements, and applicable financial and tax obligations.

These requirements are intended to promote financial accountability, protect charitable contributions, and ensure that all funds raised on behalf of Sprague Little League are used only for Little League-approved purposes and in accordance with nonprofit compliance standards.

While individual All-Star team managers are responsible for organizing and coordinating fundraising activities to help offset tournament-related expenses for their team, those activities are conducted on behalf of Sprague Little League. Accordingly, all funds generated through league-approved fundraising, as well as all charitable donations received on behalf of the league or its teams, are received, administered, accounted for, and disbursed by the league for their intended use.

Part of the purpose of handling fundraising this way is to help ensure that fundraising proceeds are administered in a manner that equally supports all eligible players and coaches.

We are grateful for the generosity of our families, local businesses, sponsors, and community members who continue to support our players. Your contributions help create opportunities for our young athletes while ensuring Sprague Little League continues to operate responsibly, transparently, and in accordance with the standards established by Little League International.

Our Intermediate team is on its way to Regionals, where theyโ€™ll proudly represent the entire state of Oregon. We couldnโ€™t be more excited for these players and coaches as they embark on this once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Team fundraising has already begun and will continue once the team has returned home from tournament play. Please be sure to follow us for updates on fundraising activities from the team's Manager. We will keep you posted as we learn more.

Sprague Little League is accepting donations to support the team, through Venmo to help offset travel, meals and lodging expenses.

Our Sprague Major All-Star tournament run has come to an end, and we couldn't be more proud of this team.

These boys battled with heart every step of the way, earning an impressive runner-up finish. But beyond the games, they built friendships, created lasting memories, and showed what it truly means to support one another as teammates.

What an incredible journey it's been! Thank you to the coaches, families, and everyone who cheered them on throughout the tournament. We are so proud of these boys, their spirit, and everything they accomplished.
